I'd love it if those three were under $510k.
My bad. Just Greene for me. Proven 100+ cheap, no Treloar, more midfield rotations expected this year. Almost a lock.

I don't buy the Greene love. He's far from a lock. Only tonned up 4 times in 22 games last year...3 of them before rd10. I'm ****ing impressed!

Pass for me.

ONE 15 game season @102 is not exactly proven (enough).
For a FWD selectable midpricer who has lost his main competition, has a tank and has always been an accumulator since juniors. He's proven enough for me.

Now I wait for the crash and burn.:(

Stevie J has not been mentioned once in every thread I've looked at so far? pretty staggered to be honest. Surely a top 6-10 Forward come seasons end and ridiculously underpriced.

He looked cooked as a premo last year. But who knows, he might get a second wind this year.

He played fwd last year, the hope is with Treloar gone Greene goes back to playing mid, look at his 2014 scoring..

Good value for 446k

Can Jesse Hogan improve on his 78 point average over 20 games in his first season. Not a bad first up effort. Second year blues a factor?

Maybe. He reckons he's been building up his tank this pre-season. 90+ not out of the question for the best young forward in the game.

I think they'll try and get 16-17 good games out of him. That's why I haven't considered him. I'd fall off my chair if he played 20. I do like stokes, big ball winner. His price will be interesting.

And no one likes big balls as much as Stokes. :$ That's the way, get that super-premo juice into you. :thumbsu:

Definite lack of gag reflex.

I'm with the big Kadog.

He's not even a certainty to play in GWS fans eyes. Take a look at some of these quotes from the GWS board.

FB: N.Haynes - P.Davis - A.Corr
HB: H.Shaw - J.Patful - Z.Williams
C: S.Coniglio - C.Ward - L.Whitfield
HF: WHE - C.McCarthy - D.Smith
FF: S.Johnson - J.Cameron - J.Patton
R: S.Mumford - D. Shiel - R.Griffen

INT: R.Palmer - J.Kelly - M.Buntine - T.Scully

EMG: J.Steele - A.Tomlinson - R.Lobb

Players to miss out are Greene (he can accumulate but his disposal is wanting, can see him being pushed aside for Steele/Hopper).

Certainly can see Hopper being in the best 22 and most likely pushing Greene out of the team.

Not much faith there.

Greene won't be in the forward line anymore... Palmer, Smith, Johnson, Pickett and Ahern all better suited to that position. Greene will have to earn his spot as an inside mid.

Earn his spot. Think about that for a second.

Personally I think Greene will be overtaken by Steele, hopper, Kennedy, Barrett and maybe Ahern.

Wow.

Anyway here is my crack at it and while about 15 spots are locks the next 7 guys are just 50/50 calls at best.

B: Patfull, Corr, Davis
HB: Griffen, Haynes, Shaw
C: Scully, Ward, Whitfield
HF: Lobb, Cameron, Smith
F: Johnson, Patton, Palmer
Foll: Mumford, Shiel, Coniglio
IC: Tomlinson, Kelly, Williams, WHE
Emerg: Hopper, McCarthy, Wilson, Steele, Greene, Buntine

Hardly inspires me to pick him. CalSinc the better choice, as he's R1/2 with Tippett, and guaranteed games.

I'll be honest I don't take any of the GWS posters seriously (no disrespect to them)

Greene is a natural ball winner, racks em up Swan style, GWS won't let him rot in the NEAFL imho

Also GWS won't play Steele, Hooper etc in the middle for long spells, as they won't handle playing 22+ matches against seasoned professionals IMO.

It all bodes well for a return to the midfield for Greene, who's been in the system since 2012.

Greene is best 22 EASILY

Any GWS fan who suggests otherwise has no FN idea

On my watch list. But unlikely to be in my side.

Too many conflicting points of view and reports. Hardly screams pick me.

Good luck! :rainbow:

I wouldn't be reading too much into what fans on a forum have to say. He's had 4 years in the system, those younger blokes aren't going to be overtaking him already.

Only listen to the fans on a forum if they support your view on a certain player though ;)

My post was simply some conflicting information, as a opposed to the Greene love that thrives in this thread.

We're all here for info, no matter how small, how opinionated, or how disagreeable it is! :D

EDIT:
Just to add, those teams I quoted had experienced players all ahead of him. None of those rookies were selected either.
The general consensus seems that he has poor disposal. Perhaps that's why he spent more time up forward?

His NAB will be very interesting to see.

Oh and your second sentence contradicts your first. I get your point though! :thumbsu:
