Hahaha, nah. It's alright. He was the first Lions player locked in my side. Didn't look twice. Just need to read training reports to see how fit the guy is now. Always a great sign.
Prices at 86.3 ppg, where do you think his improvement comes from? Surely you would be hoping he can start punching above that to be a keeper at that price

Average at best
Wont be top 10 fwd at any stage during the year imvho

If he can get injury free and have a couple years preseason he wouldn't be the worst pic IMO. Has had back issues, so no for me this year.

If playing mids AC should be able to push 100~105 for a season. The problem is he will be a fair way down the order for mid time at brisbane. I predict 90~95 for the year which is at best an f6.

What is his highest average before?

What do people think of Mitch"i need to poop" robinson? Always looks constipated but lit it up at the end of last year. He keeps ending up in my team which is a bit concearning, if he plays mid during nab i may have to start with him at f3...... thoughts?

Hard to see him keeping that same role with all those Brisbane mids and good young players coming through but Redden did leave so is that inside spot up for grabs? will be a watch during NAB challenge and see where his role is

I had Robbo in Draft League last year, killed it! If I were to have a BL forward in my team, he'd be the one. I reckon he might even improve on last year.

He was already playing inside mid last year.

92 in 2014, with an injury game.

In a cats gun side.

He's behind
Rocky
DBeams
Hanley
Bell
Zorko

In mid minutes

Will be a good role player for lions

Well if he keeps his role then he could really fly under the radar the back half of the year was killing it with the tackles and scoring.

Pitonet is a second year rookie but built like a man at 202cm & 100kg. He has excellent technique too, so no surprises he'd beat Fitzpatrick convincingly in the ruck.
To be fair Fitzy not a ruck. He'll play as a forward or back and possibly pinch hit in ruck. But if he ain't up to scratch I guess others will get in before him. Anyway not SuperCoach relevant.

Thoughts on Gunston and how Roughead out will effect him?

Had a super consistent year last year... averaged 100 if you disregard the score of 22 when he had a finger issue.

Does Roughy's absence mean more attention and less points? Or more goals and more points? Hawks fans? Glorin ?

I don't think it necessarily means more or less points for Gunston.

Roughie's absence opens up a spot for someone else. Likely O'brien, Spangher or Sicily but Clarko may move the magnets around and Hodge or Burgoyne may play forward more.

Hawthorn are going to miss Roughie's big body in the midfield just as much as his presence in the forward half.

Improvement comes in actually having a preseason. He was very unfit at the start of last year and that was evident in games. Second half of the year, he started showing his class. Not overly quick, but capable of bursting through packs, setting up goals and kicking them (mainly by diving for a FK).

In terms of midfield minutes and capabilities as a midfielder, I'd have it like this:

1. Rockliff
2. Hanley
3. Beams (should push forward more than last year)
4. Rich
5. Christensen
6. Bastinac
7. Zorko & Bell (expect both to play predominantly forward)

He'll average around 85 as a tagger this season. Only role I can see him really playing.

Supecoach aside I'm interested to see how Hawthorn as a whole. Roughy has probably been their most important player over the last few years

I've got him in m6... So yeah I agree. No doubt he will play..
But will he be top 10-15 in either position? (Mid-Fwd)

Probably not, just another trade you'll have to use.

Just ask Krujan or joop :D

He averaged 88 in 2014. If you look at Essendons remaining list there wouldn't be too many that would consistently score more than him, so he might end up with a few more points by default. He'd be a chance at a 95-100 average I reckon, which would put him in the top 10-15 forwards. I doubt I'll start with him myself, but obviously he's worth keeping an eye on in the NAB

I highly doubt it but good luck :thumbsu:
