Would love to get thoughts on this value centric forward line setup

Barlow, Greene, Hall, Cockatoo, Kerridge, McCarthy (Petracca, Grimley)

Far too risky IMO. It's fine to have value picks, but at least have someone like Dusty who you can pencil in for a century most weeks
That forward line could work, but it could also be flat out getting 350 some weeks

I did have Dusty, Barlow, Hall before tonight. But Barlow, Hall & Greene are all midfielders this year that could average 100+ that's gold in the forward line. I could add Dusty and push Hall to F4 but I'd have to drop to a 5 premo midfield.

Could... could. Greene has teased before and Hall is unproven. Dusty is proven and has no issue with his role. That forward line could become a disaster within a week.

Travis Cloke or Jesse Hogan?
Cloke is cheaper IMO could have a big year that pies midfield is awesome and he'll get excellent delivery.

Hogan could be anything

That question almost doesn't warrant an anwser.
Hogan was better then Cloke in U12s

hogan kicks straighter than cloke. Has more upside, and probably similair risk.
Id go callum sinclair over both if i was choosing, should be more consistent and average higher for the same money, with the advantage of ruckfwd dpp

Good point re:Sinclair although I've already got Tippett

Sinclair coming into calculations for some?

Big minutes, big effort, big boy

With Mumford off in Q1 they were basically rucking against Lobb.
Tippett the preferred ruckman as well with twice the hit outs of Sinclair.

I don't want to be relying on Sinclair getting a lot of touches around the ground without the surety of 30 odd hit outs to help keep his scores up if he's quiet around the ground.

Buddy screwing with my head.

He is the cheapest he has ever been in SC but gee whiz he carries some risk and is playing like Poo.

Very hit and miss points wise and almost 100% chance that he will miss a few games either due to injury or suspension.

He is in my team currently but if anyone has another better option for around 470-500k i am all ears! I already have Dusty and Barlow as well with Buddy currently F3.

So many negatives but he does have massive upside IF he performs at that price.

I've had Buddy for about 5 weeks but have lost interest in the past week or so. Devon Smith and Mitch Robinson should be good for 90-95 in my opinion, but not much more...will that be enough to make it worth picking them over Martin, Deledio, Montagna, Wingard, Barlow, Dahlhaus, Bennell etc? Got to weigh that up...

Robbo NO way and ignore last season when he was playing with a chip on his shoulder. He gives away to many free kicks and has a terrible tribunal record.

Devon Smith is o.k but carries the same amount of risk as Buddy i reckon when looking at scoring power.

Dal / Wingard / Bennell i am not sold on at their $$$ and are to often missing in games.

Forwards are tough this year IMO away from the massive ownership guys, every guy i look at for around 500k i am saying " **** that " !!!!

Interested as to why you think Robbo only played well due to a chip on his shoulder, rather than just finally growing up...

Dahlhaus and Wingard don't really go missing all that much. Actually pretty consistent players when you look at their records. Dahlhaus only two sub 80 scores in 2015 (one was a 79...). You won't find much better than that.

Robbo ceiling IMO is a 85avg this year, he will never grow up!

SC is all about finding roughies in the dirt! I am not taking blokes who i think cannot beat least seasons average when that avg is in the 80's/low 90's.

Can also consider Toby Greene. Personally hate him as a player but he should play a pretty SC friendly role in 2016.

Disposal is questionable at best and ball butcher comes to mind.

30 possies for him is a 90pt SC game which is not good enough.
