It was Commetti, I think, and I agreed with him. Cats looked lacklustre, and never really clicked as a team. Somehow 4 players dragged them over the line.
Halfway through the 2nd quarter in a final, calling a team basically gone is foolish. Combined with the way they called all the Hawks play as the greatest thing that ever happened. Nauseating. I switched over to the League final, F'd if I am going to sit through a neutral game where the commentators can't even call the game without bias.

All they asaid the cats were in danger of being run over. And they were. They could barely get the ball out of their 50

Happier times for our man Smissy.

That half pump celebration after he kicked it and the awkward arm put down was gold.
What a tool. He'll never live that down. If he nailed it, yeah ok he's still a dick. But he missed and he's a ******* tool haha.

Lols aside for a moment - how stupid was Motlop on countless occasions in the last 5 mins? Didn't do the team thing and try and get it over the line. Went for (2)? unrealistic goal attempts for the glory. Nearly cost them the game.
Wide open in the square and all he had to do was pass and they win comfortably. Instead has a quick sighter and almost puts it on the full.

He had a pretty shit game and hes thinking "I can win this off my own boot"

On a long drive back home for the weekend so missed the game. Just got in & saw a replay of the last 5 mins.

What kind of complete tool gives a filthy smirk & wink before absolutely & utterly humiliating themselves in front of millions of viewers?? Smissy does. Hahaha.
I don't know what was going through his head at the time, but it was either a sign of arrogance or extreme nerves IMO. Either way, I don't think he handled the pressure well at all.

Sure. He's either a bloke that was nervous not having really been exposed to finals pressure like that before.... or he's a complete tool who's proven that fact in the past with things such as celebrations running straight at his opponent or the odd "chatter" & "push & shove" usually as his opponent is being beaten badly.

These last two results have me really worried about the impact of the bye on our momentum. Based on form before the bye you would have thought that WC and Geelong would have comfortably accounted for their opponents. Very glad we have a double chance just in case

Hawks posters reckon he was buggered by the time he took the kick and he was trying to calm his nerves. I thought it was a fairly disappointing finish regardless, but at the end of the day he still has three more premiership medals than you and I.
