How do SC finals work? Same as AFL Finals system? A week off would be great...
We really should be able to do three way subs...

By this do you mean the following scenario:
Having a RUC/FWD, a MID/RUC, and a MID/FWD, and not being able to rotate the 3?
I just came on here to try and find out if the above is possible... I can't find a way!
Trade feature to sub players into new positions also doesn't work. Just reverts to "playername no longer has a place in your team".its not possible bud

Quick noobie question..
I keep seeing people mention keeping libba in the mids on the bench as a m9, how does this benefit your team? Is there some loophole? Or is it simply to cover the loss if someone is injured/rested?
CheersGuns traditionally have been rested during sc finals in prep for afl finals.
A good m9 is critical
Pearce Hanley given dual status (def/mid) in AF;

Does anyone know the conversion rate on these changes for the following year in SC?
Pretty low, SC is based off actual time spent in an area. AFL... no idea. Would not have predicted Hanley spending a lot of time behind the ball based off the eye test unless it's just because the ball is always in our defensive 50.

I'm talking purely about league finals here, not overall and not regular season.
You're much much better off just holding trades if you're aiming for finals than trying to stuff around with or optimize fringe players. If keeper X is injured in week 1 of finals you can use your 80 point sub, or you can trade the injured/rested player straight to another 100+ player.
My strategy revolves around saving trades. Eg keeping Tippa, Kerridge to be f7, d7.
I just didn't know if this was a standard league win strategy or not, and if it is a good one.
Most people going for overall seem to want to want to have stronger onfield teams and weaker benches.
Going into the finals, the team that wins is about 30% luck, 40% strength of team at the start of finals, and 30% who has enough trades to do one or two each week. Numbers there are mainly an educated guess.
