Just want Clokey to concentrate on his footy. Nothing too complicated please. If his management is pushing to open contract discussions again, then don't let it be an ongoing distraction like 2012. That really marred Bucks' first year as coach and gave David Cloke a lot of air time.

Thought 2011, too, both he and Malthouse had their Footy Show interviews that caused a bit of a distraction

I honestly think Cloke's footy show interview was in 2012. I didn't watch it, but recall the stir it caused on here. I was a lurker then.

Guess we had two years running of distractions, when we were contenders. 2011 (Mick) and 2012 (Cloke).

Probably neither! But I have a good memory for all things Collingwood, especially years. It comes with having an unhealthy obsession.

I know I might be bucking the leading teams strategy.....but unless one gets injured or incapacitated.....why do we need the spares again?

Saw a junior (under 11) leadership team established during the week...lol...seriously it's as bad as "graduating" from primary school!
