I said this, this time last year too, but I would love for Carlton to have a look at Brett Eddy for a late pick or rookie selection. If JPod can do it at 28, so can this guy (He is 26).

Of those OOC players, Buckley would appear to have the most upside and the one worth keeping around for at least another year or two IMO.
Especially as he is a running player and could help cover Tuohy going........although Buckles seems to play better in a forward role.......should keep him for at least another year to see how he goes imo

no way, he butchers the ball like Kerridge does.........one of those is enough !!!
Agree. I reckon the Crows will pick him up in an attempt to wipe a bit of egg from their faces.

DRAFT KIDS, PLAY KIDS. We brought in Semdts and Palmer. Thats enough mature players unwanted by their previous clubs.

Blues make further list changes

Carlton Football Club has made additional changes to its list today, informing six players their contracts would not be renewed for next season.

Andrejs Everitt, Dillon Viojo-Rainbow, Jason Tutt and Mark Whiley have been delisted from the primary list, while Andrew Gallucci and Billy Gowers have been delisted from the rookie list.

Gallucci and Gowers will continue to train with the team, with the duo having the potential to be re-rookied later this year.

A little surprised about Gowers but no-one else.
Graham and Buckley survive...............for now.
Sheehan.....please be safe. :)

No real surprises there, although disappointed we never got to see DVR play any games at AFL level. Probably lacked the intensity and wasn't well-rounded enough to be a real contributor.

Kind of disappointed to see Everitt delisted too. He but had a truckload of talent but not much application.

End of an era.

Seems as though we don't have to consider Glass-McCasker going anywhere.
Would be crazy to let him go, just for a late pick rookie.

Wouldn't be surprised should we take in Gowers again. Can't see any need for Gallucci though.

okay.

still delist jones & graham
upgrade byrne & sheehan
6 picks in the national draft
plus rookies
Given we've just about cleared the list to the max, why do we still think that contracted players will be discarded?
Had this same argument for months now and if you can't see that it won't happen by now............god help you. :)

who do you think they will be?
Graham likely to have his head on the chopping block and it will all depend on how things go through the draft.
If we think we can get someone better than him in the 80's, then it's a no-brainer.

Seems to me that we'll have to wait until final list lodgements now.
