it may depend upon how many trades, draft picks etc sos gets. there will be a few that go before graham & whiley. the advantage for them is they are still young and might be worth another year to see if they can make it

For those that can get along to vfl games. How is DVR fairing? Is he showing signs of development/potential, or stuck in the mud?
Can't get his possession count up, only moderate impact on games, rarely votes, doesn't hit the scoreboard. Not for lack of trying but.........

Surprisingly, there is a LOT of talk about Graham on here. I guess this is the state of our midfield these days.

We really need to draft gun mids. As nice as it would be to get Marchbank, Tomlinson, Steele and Stewart, we need to put getting a gun mid high on our priority list. I think it's a must to keep our first pick this year...

Same.
I'd pick Whiley over Graham.
Whiley is rated highly be insiders too.
Why would insiders rate Whiley over Graham?
Graham gets heaps more ball than Whiley, tackles way more, kicks more goals and Whiley just seems to have a little of the Paul Bowers about him, as I can seriously see him thinking as he ways up his options down the ground.

not really. Have you checked the VFL stats?

On the McKay front, Ben kicked three and took some really strong grabs in the vfl yesterday. Was surprised how big his frame was for an 18 year old.

Hopefully Harry can show something similar in the back half of the season.
was going to post this too.

tired a bit but showed good strength and attack on the ball.

was playing forward but was drafted as a chb.

by all accounts we have the better brother though.

No I haven't seen all the stats for the VFL games this year, was basing my opinion on games I've seen of both of them the past 2 years.
I'd love both of them to step up this year and I really thought the death of the Sub would've helped Graham as he was sub way to many times the poor bloke just needs a run of games to prove himself I reckon and he'll surprise a few on here

What are peoples thoughts on Dean Towers from the Swans? I really rate him and he is constantly in and out of the Swans side. It seems they can't accommodate him when Tippet and Buddy are both playing, this is on top of Sam Reid also being out. He would be much better IMO than Stewart from the Giants.

Graham has had 0 impact under bolton. He was great for us last year though.
But because we haven't seen Whiley he's a better option? Nick is stuck around that 22-25th player selected where he get picked as emergency enough to miss VFL games and the lack of consistent games has hurt him.

Really strange how his dropped off. Said he wanted to improve the forward pressure part of his game in the pre season and his pressure acts numbers have been pretty high this year IIRC.
But the other parts of his game have really dropped off. He was getting good possession numbers, winning clearances and regularly hitting the scoreboard last year.
Was also racking up big numbers when he played in the VFL last year.
Something's not right could be his carrying an injury or his just out of form.
Think he may have some currency at another club, just doesn't seem to be in Bolton's plans.
