Also i'd love to see how all of Hrovat, Webb and Jong would "walk" into our best 22. One or two maybe, certainly not all three/
Out: kerridge lamb thomas armfield graham whiley tutt.
NB: wouldn't know these 3 kids from a bar of soap. But we have a lot just making up the numbers in our 22 and anyone with a modicum of talent and youth would walk in.
Plus aside from Patrick, all our best were born in the 80s

He's been ok doesn't dominate in the ruck contests but rarely gets dominated...usually breaks even and contributes around the ground.

His contested marking has actually been pretty good this year.

He's taken quite a few grabs in the F50...unfortunately he's missed most of his shots.
He used to be a good shot for goal so if he tidies that up and can score close to a goal a game he's a useful ruckman.

Id say he can contribute as much as a McEvoy or Ceglar
I really dont think kruezer will be a player that will have longevity in the game i can see him only have 2 to 3 more reasonable years left in him then decline quickly . By the time we are ready to challenge he will be long gone imo . Nows the time if a club comes calling with a second rounder and a young mid to seriously consider we part ways .

You create midfield depth by filling up the top end of your midfield making the current depth you have.. more depth. If you just replace the depth part of your midfield, the midfield hasn't actually changed, it's just gotten slightly deeper.

We need one to two more elite midfielders. Depth is and will be handy, and we should also look at midfield depth elsewhere, but if we were trading Casboult and Kreuzer i'd want more than depth.

Also i'd love to see how all of Hrovat, Webb and Jong would "walk" into our best 22. One or two maybe, certainly not all three/
Agree.. can you imagine how good it will be when Gibbs becomes our 5th best mid as opposed to the 2nd he is now.

Don't disagree.

I'd be tempted for the previously proposed trade of dogs second and Jong

We can do both.

Grab Hrovat and Jong to push Graham and Kerridge out of the side, then draft a couple of mids in the first round who'll (hopefully) become the top-end talent we need to take us forward.

As much as you like to simplify this stuff, we can tick multiple boxes via different recruitment avenues.

Say the Dogs & Eagles were keen on Kreuze, they'll both end up with a pick around the 13/14 mark.

How would MK and our 2nd(23) for 13 and 31 go? Another 1st round pick and then 31 can help us get the GWS boys anyway.
I am still not in a rush to lose Kreuzer, but what you are saying is the GWS4V2 of Marchbank, Steele, Tomlinson and Stewart for MK and our pick #23. That would help the rebuild:thumbsu:

Sorry to burst your bubble but Kruezer won't be at the Bulldogs. Sydney & GWS are heavily into him. He wants to stay at the club but told Silvagni that he would go elsewhere if it was further the club. Delisting or trading Kerridge is probably the dumbest thing I've read on this forum.
Kreuzer and Tuohy for Mitchell and 17...make it happen.

If MK can net us Tom Mitchell or the GWS4 (with steak knifes) then I guess that makes sense. Will still miss the Tractor:(, but understand the logic:thumbsu:

But it was absolute gold when he ducked today while being tackled by Joel Selwood.

I nearly wet myself laughing when Selwood started complaining about the free kick!!!!!!
Saw that as well and was thinking how ironic it was... Duckwood complaining about someone ducking while being tackled by himself!

Probably not as simple as just keeping or delisting Gallucci. If we ended up drafting say Ainsworth for example then we'd obviously get rid of him straight away as we'd be better off giving his spot to a developing ruck or tall defender. On the other hand if our first two picks ended up being McGrath and Clarke we'd probably be better off keeping him. Same probably goes for Gowers and Graham, it'll depend on list balance.

Which makes sense, don't think we would of given much attention to list balance for a very long time which is critical for planning/development.

We won't be drafting Ainsworth, Sin.

Our pick 4/5 will be traded for 2 x first rounders, O'Meara, Prestia, Billy Longer, 9 GWS players, Andrew Walker's hat, next year's 2nd rounder from North and a handshake agreement to get three extra high 2018 picks to use on Ben Silvagni...

So, the Swans & GWS want him ??

GWS - Mumford, Downie, Lobb, Flynn, Simpson
SWANS - Derickx, Naismith, Sinclair, Nankervis

But you just said we don't need midfield depth so what is it ??

He's a rookie so it's not too much to carry but I can't se him given much chance before Sumner and possibly even Lamb & Buckley.

I may have just saw some things I didn't like about him in some of the pre-season sessions I viewed.
Just didn't seem to be particularly clean to me and a fumbling small forward won't do you much good at all.
