I think Levi on a one year deal is a great idea. And I'd keep doing that year on year. Give him some incentive to improve.

Besides, until we have a replacement putting their hand up to take his spot what are our options? We need a mature big body. Harry is still 2 years away.
That's a bit farsighted. I'd say he'll already be regular 22 within 2 years. He'll fill out plenty over the next 2 preseasons one would think.

Unless SoS really rates Pickett I dont like that trade.. but prepared to back him in.
Agreed - Pick 5 is worth too much to us. Would rather have a crack at the draft pool than roll the dice on Picket. Marchbank i'd go for with a later pick.

Given we have such an interest in Marchbank, we have to at least consider that there's a very good reason for that to be the case........but I don't think that the reason would be; "Let's stack our backline to the hilt at the expense of other areas of the ground"

I just see Weitering playing forward.
With Docherty, Plowman, Byrne and possibly Marchbank down back and that we're resolute in playing a team defence, we may not need Weitering at full-back as much as we think we may.

The guy is an aerobic beast, a leader, has a straight kick and reads the ball as well as anyone.......I just see him as forward, going.....forward.
The way he played against WC with that niggle, I reckon he could step in and kick 35-40 next year.

Meh, ruckman are overrated. Show me an All Australian ruckman in a premiership side, the last one was Dean Cox, a next level goat. Every other premiership side get's it done with part timers. What did Nic Nat do in the grannie last year? Ruckman are the LAST thing a side should focus on.
Can't agree. Nic Nat is a matchwinner and West Coast play a lot better with him in the side. Where did North go when Goldstein got injured? Their end to the 9 straight pretty much co-insides with his injury. Max Gawn takes his game to the next level and low & behold Melbourne start winning some games. No co-incidences in these cases.

Yep. I have no idea how anyone can watch a WCE game & not notice their midfield stinks whenever Nic Nat isn't on the ground

what a homesick ACL
Makes sense

He is facing 1 year in a lonely rehab room away from his friend ms and family, then another year in the NEAFL as there's no way anyone with 2 knees is breaking into that side straight away.

Why not ask to come home to a team that is more likely to give you a crack in the seniors one you get yourself right.

Hahaha.. mate I wish!! I've been recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and have gone from running around playing cricket at 46 to being bed ridden at 48. The drugs I'm on have horrific side effects so ive had to eliminate meat, dairy, coffee, donuts :( and gluten. The good news is im pretty well much pain free. The bad news is I eat like a tree hugging, hippie whale watcher.
Great to hear you are better now KP, but I'd choose pain.... ;)
