What I thought I heard Karl say was that they pay Simpson for his segment, but Ross was doing his gratis as part of their overall relationship with the Fremantle football club. They couldn't come to an arrangement with him for 2016 but he would still be available for interviews on their station from time to time for what they referred to as 'big moments'.

Karl said that they could not come to commercial terms to get Ross on every Monday, however Ross has agreed to appear whenever a major announcement is made. Last week it was Chris Bond, this week it is Michael Prior. So each Monday night a coach will be made available to 882, just not Ross.

That's disappointing because we got much more candid information from him on 6PR in comparison to Basil's fluff piece each Tuesday night. Now we will have to wait for him to be interviewed by Eastern States broadcasters to hear anything decent.

It may be semantics but you've somehow effectively turned **Shock horror! Clubs interested in uncontracted gun midfielder** into "it's rumoured he's unhappy at the club/wants out"

I didn't suggest for one minute not to talk about it, but you've jumped the gun and deduced that he wants out somehow, and i'd love to know how you come to that conclusion.

In a nut shell...Concern about Freo but they're changing the game plan, However they had to tweak the game plan and cannot go back to Defense only.
...Biggest concern is center bounces, efficiency is odd but you still can be in games if you give strong effort (ie Essendon win against Melbourne)
