And look what it's done for the general personalities of their supporters. If you are constantly told the sun shines out of your teams arse then most of your fellow supports have a corresponding personality.

I hadn't yet had the chance to properly meet my new neighbours, although they've been in the place next door for a little while.

Anyway, so yesterday, the bloke comes out in his Eagles gear while I'm out the front with my bike. I say 'how's it going?' nice and friendly, and he just ****ing stares at me like I was speaking another language and keeps walking.

Not surprising I suppose, but geez.

On Monday evening, Fairfax Media reported Clark made sexist remarks to Hawthorn-listed player Teia Miles in the VFL that were allegedly directed towards his sister, who is Duncan's long-term partner

Mitch Clark is such a flog, cannot express how much I dislike this gold digging twat.

Dodged the biggest of bullets missing out on this guy.

Poor old Scott really does not know what to do with him as he has to be careful because of his issues.

Big call but he might be back playing for the Sharks next year.

Seems like it - anyone see 360 last night? Robbo asked Scott whether they need Clark to win the flag and he straight out said "no" and then quickly added, "I hope not... blah blah blah..."

Very interesting. It is clear from "outside" that people could form the opinion he is no value to the team and perhaps even be a negative.

But with the investment made in him and the help he needs there is probably a strong feeling within the club that he must be given every opportunity to play.

Frankly, Geelong have the talent to win this year but some issues within the club or playing group are interfering with their push and I can't at the moment see Clarke as anything but an unwarranted distraction.

Fremantle

you've come down in the last shower ... ... you'll believe that Sandilands, having recovered from horrific rib problems, now isn't playing because of "leg soreness". Ross The Boss, if you can pull this one off for another seven weeks, you'll forever be our No.1 AFL identity. And as for Bennell and Johnson, and maybe Fyfe … too good.

More bullshit from Barratt, when will he stop dribbling shit.
In a strange way, it's kind of a compliment.

So he mentions 2 guys that have had horrific injuries. Another guy that's broken his leg twice in the last 10 months. And someone who's had a chronic injury mismanaged by his last team. And we're tanking for not playing them?

On come on we all know they are not "really" injured. It's all a Machivellian plot by RTB to purposely lose the games to get the high draft pick. As soon as it looks like the players are getting fit Ross tells them to ease back and pretend. Harley? Could have played six week ago. Sandi. 1 week injury. Fyfe? Nothing wrong with him. That Ross Lyon is a sneaky bugger.

...well that explains Balic's inclusion on the reserves list last week... the good news being that it looks like Balic is about a month away.

Thoughts?
I get both sides of the argument on this one. He is only being named just to give him some more game time before the off season and not so Peel have an advantage come finals time. But for other WAFL teams I also agree it's not really within the spirit of the game. Although I very much doubt a young guy who has been out for an eternity with an injury and who has never played a game for Peel yet is going to make that much impact come WAFL finals.

Yeah, in this instance it's not going to amount to any advantage, if anything it might be the opposite. But still don't like it. I think the player should at least take the field to count as a game.

Having said that, there's some over the top reactions from other clubs there.

I'm all for it, if we make the finals hopefully he gets to play more than the one game.
Personally I don't like it but it's the rule bending/ selfish act that says the club is looking at every angle for success. For this reason I like it.

I just don't see any benefit to Balic other than mental health (finally I can play).

I am delighted that his wrist is on the repair but he is a far to valuable resource to play this year - cotton wool him for next year Freo, have we not learnt from past mistakes.

Once again I can understand the frustration of other clubs even if there is a loophole.

Knobjockey Foster with a dig at the end - "One of the more peculiar items is a signed and framed jumper of the Hawks' 2014 side which is currently going for $370. At least one Dockers fan can get their hands on a jumper that has won a grand final."

The interesting thing is that someone bid $35,000 to get their family name on Fyfe locker at Cockburn

Happy that this is all for a good cause but seriously, that is ridiculous.
