News 2016 Member Forum (Monday Sept 12th, 6pm)

Here's the details anyway;

Hi Matt,

On behalf of President Eddie McGuire and the board of the Collingwood Football Club, you are invited to attend the 2016 Collingwood Member Forum.



The Member Forum gives you the chance to hear from club leaders, and ask any questions regarding Collingwood's 2016 season and future plans.



President Eddie McGuire will be in attendance, alongside CEO Gary Pert, Senior Coach Nathan Buckley, GM of List Management Derek Hine, and other senior Collingwood figures.



The details of the event are: 



Date: Monday 12 September 

Time: 6.00pm start

Venue: Glasshouse at the Holden Centre - Olympic Boulevard, Olympic Park, Melbourne



Please note Club 5 and Legends members have access to seating from 5.00pm. All other members have access from 5.30pm.

Capacity to this event is strictly limited and all members must show their 2016 membership card to gain entry on the night.



Please note parking is available over the river on Alexandra Avenue. There is also parking available in the Eastern Car Park Plaza next to Hisense Arena (Entrance D). Please click here for more information.

Doubt I'll attend, as it's a 2 hour round trip to get in to the city on a weeknight. But feel free to share thoughts and stories on the night.

Just posted this on Nicks. If I juggle my work commitments, I may be able to attend.

I like the fact that the club does this to appease supporters and at least make them feel connected to the club even though many don't ever ask the hard-hitting questions and vice-versa the club toes the company line.

Should be a good night for those who attend.

If you have any class of membership in your own name, you are eligible to get in (it's not like the AGM where you need to be legends/social club/club 5 member)

I do have a membership but its not a legends. I wanted to see if i could borrow my friends to get in early, wasnt sure if they needed proof or anything

Their probably won't be that many people going seeing how last year's forum was recieved. You won't have trouble getting in with a regular membership.

I'd love someone to just openly ask "Are you able to explain to us how the club has progressed under the fitness regime of Davoren?" and then just sit back and enjoy listening to the bullshit they come back with.

Technically no. Memberships are not transferable.

ps. Your risk of getting busted is low, but there's simply no point risking it just so you can get in 30 minutes earlier.

It wouldn't even surprise me if they don't bother to enforce the Legends / non-Legends opening times.
