He's not going to do a wildcard at Austria as we all want. He mentioned that some of the points of the track were dangerous with little run off so I'd imagine that would be high on the list of reasons why he wouldn't race there. Saw people criticise him for his comments and suggesting he should grow some balls. Yeah, because that's what should happen when parts of a track are considered dangerous - just suck it up. Must've been fun for them when Salom was killed this year.

I wonder if it were anywhere else would Stoner have taken up the wildcard offer.
He certainly wasn't a fan of the Austrian track prior to the testing they did a few weeks back.

He'd have won too I think, the Ducati's are looking very fast (and the Hondas are slow).

Marquez crashed in FP3 avoiding Pedrosa and dislocated his shoulder. Sounds like he'll be okay to ride.

Also, Miller has confirmed that he'll have a new crew chief next year with his current chief mechanic, Christian Gabbarini, to join Ducati as Lorenzo's chief spanner spinner. He is Casey Stoner's for crew chief as well so I'm sure they'll enjoy rekindling their old working relationship a bit.

Iannone grabs pole but is having issues with a rib he busted training during the summer break. Miller had a monster highside (he fortunately walked away unhurt) in qualifying hence starting 20th. He was 11th in FP4 so appears to have good race pace.

Also, KTM have released the livery for their MotoGP racer for next year.

They will be debuting it in a wildcard race later this year.

Romano Fenati has been suspended for this race by his team with rumour that it will become permanent and they will bring a young Italian rider to replace him at Brno. They team have cited ill discipline for his suspension.

Must've been in huge pain for qualifying too. He was looking really good for a decent points finish.

Jack Miller is out of this weekends Czech GP

He wanted to ride this weekend, got passed fit by the officials but HRC and his team have withdrawn him for the race. Good to see genuine care for health over dollars from time-to-time. :thumbsu:

Also, Marc Marquez has pulled off one of the greatest saves you'll ever see last night.

Only he could've saved it.

As for Miller, its could to see the safe option taken in this instance but its a real shame. He had some good momentum up to quali last week and just started to believe he belonged

Fenati has been sacked by VR46.
Lorenzo Della Porta will take over the ride at Silverstone.

Hopefully it's the kick up the arse he needs to realise his potential.

Also, it's currently raining in Brno today. Miller must be in tears, Lorenzo inconsolable!

Could we see another first time winner? Also, Lorenzo is again dreadfully slow in the wet, this may well be the weekend the title is virtually put to bed - if it hasn't been already.
