How close to full strength are Port?

Really quite strong actually they brought in Boak, Hartlett, Wines, Schulz & Gray.

They are missing Wingard & Dixon (Ryder & Monfries suspended ofc).

Was taking the p#ss actually at some of the ," Nothing too see here,move along" attitudes.
I concur that were some alarming signs in that performance,win,lose or draw.
Will be watching with interest our Nab 3 game v Fremantle.

Yeah, like you, I am concerned too. It's very early days, so it might be nothing to worry about. But it just seemed sooooooo familiar...in a post 2012 sort of way.

As for the "Keep calm, and always look on the bright side of life" crowd...well I think they are eternally positive types, so good on them. But when the need for change comes, they tend to miss the boat.

It will be interesting viewing this year if it doesn't gel at the Cattery. Let's hope it does.

I think balanced supporters, which I believe most posters are, will share a common consensus and question our direction if there are no obvious improvements this year.

I am with you, I have my concerns. Since 2007 weve had a team stacked with talent. This crop of players isnt stacked with consistent talent but its there regardless. Which brings me to my ultimate point.

consistency is the underlying factor behind our wavering performances. Id argue we have around 5 consistent players and of the younger blokes I reckon only Bicavs and Duncan field consistent games. The rest go missing to much whether it be a quarter or just a dud game.

would love to see the boys bring it together this much like in early 2007 where we started poorly and ended up being a jugganaught.
