In other words...bubble screens SMH

Pryor never showed off agility, elusiveness, instincts, or moves as a runner in the pocket. only straight-line speed in the open field.

-----------

The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Terry Pluto reports Browns coach Hue Jackson "has drawn up plays" for WR Terrelle Pryor.

Pluto says the plays are designed to get the ball in Pryor's hands and "let him run." With a receiver corps devoid of any playmaking ability outside of first-round rookie Corey Coleman, Jackson is making the right call by attempting to use Pryor's game-breaking ability to full effect. Now the former quarterback just needs to show well enough in camp to earn the role. In addition to Pryor, the Browns should be looking to utilize sophomore RB Duke Johnson's talents in the passing game.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Le'Veon Bell's potential four-game suspension is the result of "several" missed drug tests.

Rapoport added the Steelers have known about the potential suspension "for some time." Bell is planning to appeal, but his chances for success seem slim if it is true he missed multiple tests. DeAngelo Williams will be a sure-fire RB1 as long as Bell is sidelined.

Really surprised the Pats have been shut out under Brady, just can't imagine it

However the Pats do have those rare off games where they just play horribly. i.e. @ Miami 2013, 2015

2006 game was obscenely windy @ Miami IIRC. Not a passing game.

And Brady was hit a few times

Who would have guessed that he has been avoiding drug tests after coming back better after injury. 4 game suspension is pretty soft, should be indefinite....

Looking forward to the season.

Only thing I am not looking forward to is the overzealous celebrations of the players.

Go Jags.

Another question, a live pass, is it worth the money?

Just a refresh LicoriceAllsorts and others...

If you're going to start an extended debate/discussion about a team, use the DIVISIONAL meltdown threads. No one wants to read pages and pages of a particular team's pros-cons/etc in the general pre-season all-league-teams thread.

It's kind of a fine line, I know. Sometimes something starts off a stat about something general, and ends up completely about a particular team or player. That's kind of ok. It MIGHT end up moved to the DIVISIONAL thread or might not, depending on the relevancy. But if you're going to set off focusing about a particular team then use the DIVISIONAL thread.

Cant believe we werent shut out during the Jimmy Clausen year(s)...

Broncos high altitude long range FG's have obviously saved their arse plenty of times, especially during Tebow time im guessing.

Nope, with Tebow starting Denver scored a TD in every game except one, which they kicked a FG of only 38 yards

Is that the game he threw for 57 yards or something? :sob::sob:

Most of it in the last quarter? Against the Chiefs? Didnt get a first down til the last quarter? FG in the last quarter? Right?

fuey

youve been warned about not tagging him before, LA, dont be mentioning without tagging.

Don't really give a *, soz.

Plus, he probably scans every post to see if he's being referred to anyway...

Just try to use threads dedicated to certain topics more, than just lumping everything into the pre-season thread or when we get there, the weekly nfl threads. Just try to use a little more discretion. Not attacking anyone one person. Applies to all. Including me.
Division threads are worse than team threads.

And team threads are cancer.

And team threads are cancer.
There's a use for them. Why they were created. People don't want to labor thru a generic "weekly" type thread where two or three division rival fans just have a go at each other for 10 pages. Just like when people didn't want to see a generic thread spam'd by a fan of one team -- when team threads were created.
