Realistically missing that much preseason will mean he's not right for round 1. If he plays round 1 it smacks of desperation. The season is long. He needs to get it right.

How Port handle this will be a semaphore to their mindset about this season.
Basically would be back to their best 22 from the 2014 season minus Kornes. I think they'll play the long game and make sure he's right.

So am I right in saying that according to the Power supporters - Dixon injuring his knee is a good thing? He can get it cleaned out and ready for the season proper? Then why all the anger? They should be celebrating.

I think so too. Apart from the Crows, their first five or six block is almost as easy as it was for them when they won the May premiership in 2013. There'd be no need to risk it.

That's exactly when they traditionally get ahead of themselves - happened last year when they had the block of easy ones and started losing to Carlton and Brisbane. Same thing happened back end of 2014, top 4 spot sewn up and then crapped themselves.

Their record since half way through 2014 is pretty ordinary

I like reading different opinions about our club. I search 'Port' and it leads me here.
Is this because port supporters think what Kochie, Ken and Keith tells them to think? so you need to look outside to find a different opinion?
Nothing makes the port board realise how strongly they feel about something like a KT letter to the members does.
