John Butcher with 2 touches in 3 quarters of footy against the Redlegs tonight.

Lewis Johnston has kicked 4.1 for the Legs so far.
Just had a look at the teams

Do Port have a heap of players out injured? That is the worst collection of reserves players I've ever seen.

Not much there. I'm pretty sure Houston and Snelling don't exist either. Just added in to boost numbers so it looks like they've got plenty to come back in.

11 Collingwood players test positive to illicit drugs, or Mark Robinson is the biggest tool of all Football journalists.

Some of the Herald Sun article here and written below http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/edd...d/news-story/9c324d3fae49128116865a6d500de343

COLLINGWOOD president Eddie McGuire admits he’s not in a position to confirm or deny revelations up to a quarter of the club’s players tested positive to illicit drugs over the summer.

The Herald Sun is reporting that up to 11 Magpies tested positive to drugs via hair testing during the pre-season period.

Under the off-season hair testing regimen, clubs are informed of the raw numbers, but they are not told the identity of players who test positive.

“It could well be the truth because we don’t find out. We get peace meal information. We are speaking to the AFL in the next couple of weeks about the hair testing results,” Eddie McGuire told Fox Footy in response to hearing the news fromn the herald Sun’s Jon Ralph.

“Until the clubs have actually got some control over it there’s no point talking to the clubs.

It’s an AFL and AFL Players’ Association matter. We’ve been talking about this for a long time. “Collingwood has been very strong on it. That’s the first I’ve heard of it so there’s no further comment from the club.

“If we had any further comment we probably couldn’t anyway because these things are supposed to remain confidential.”

Fox Sports understands the AFL has ramped up hair testing under the new illicit drugs policy and 14 out of the 18 clubs had every player tested in the most recent off-season. The remaining four clubs had approximately 75 per cent of their players screened.

Hair testing is a voluntary arrangement with the players and the results do not count as a strike under the AFL-AFLPA illicit drugs policy.

However, the players that test positive will be subject to target testing in the future.

Gee, they're talking up Carlton's "amazing" improvement.

They were playing a woeful, under-strength Tigers team.
Agree

There needs to be a bigger sample size before they talk up any improvement

Even last year Carlton had a handful of good games, example beating Port at the G

Breaking news.
Ablett to face disciplinary action for failing to supply a sample and avoiding the hair testing
