Did anybody listen to Fiveaa this afternoon.

I had it on for 10 minutes in the car tonight. (I did say a while back I won't listen to Kornes but did)
Anyway they had the whole feel good Friday.
Adelaide Crows pledges 5 grand for Sam Willoughby and his recovery and said Port Adelaide ball is in your court now.

Anyway Port waited till the last possible moment to put money up (apparently they were in a meeting) I'm not sure why there was a time limit.

Anyway they have pledged a corporate box to go up for auction on Fiveaa valued at 10 to 12 grand for the year.

Now can anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it right that they do not sell out their corporate boxes? Therefore they aren't foregoing any money at all?

Tell me if I'm being petty.

You're probably being a little petty, it's a nice act from Port for a crows ambassador. They might not be able to sell it at full price, but they would be able to sell it for more than $5k if they dropped it's price.

Its the hole in Geelongs backline that will bite them more than anything. Enright, Lonergan and Taylor possibly gone , leaves Mackie holding up the pieces. You always build from defence , motor from the midfield and finish with the forwards.

I take it that you don't like Jenkins?

Personally I think it is a good thing he is staying.

2012 - 11 games 11 goals 3 behinds, 61 hitouts
2013 - 17 games 24 goals 24 behinds, 61 hitouts
2014 - 20 games 40 goals 26 behinds, 55 hitouts
2015 - 21 games 46 goals 21 behinds, 79 hitouts
2016 - 24 games 62 goals 29 behinds, 135 hitouts
Jenkins just keeps getting better. On track for 100 goals, 200 hitouts next year.

I didnt bother watching the game last night but im glad that dangerfield didnt get to walk into a premiership. Im pretty sure wed have won this year with him in the midfield so it would have sucked to have him still win one despite walking out.

How about his record in the 4 finals he has played:

Average:
Disposals - 7.75
Goals - 1.5
Marks - 3.25
HO - 3.5
Tackles - 2.5

In 2 of the 4 finals he played in he was held goalless and in those 2 games he averaged:
Disposals - 8
Goals - 0
Marks - 2
HO - 2
Tackles - 1.5

One of the least physical ruckman/part time ruckman I have seen.

There's always been something about the Dangerfield 2015 narrative that didn't sit right with me.

Supposedly he "gave his all for the Crows last year", when his stats were very similar to his stats in 2012.
But this year he's apparently "taken it to a new level"?

Maybe I'm still bitter and cynicals, but perhaps he didn't actually give his all last year, and just coasted along?

Yeah well done Bevo ...nah **** him. Whiney campaigner.

Go you Giants!!
Oh absolutely ... GWS for me from here on in. The screams it will generate from Victoria will be popcorn worthy. Also a GWS premiership might loosen the grip some of the players have with the club and make it easier to pry them away :)

You know how businesses offer people free samples in the hopes that those people will like their product and buy it? Well Port often give away free tickets for the same reason, but recently they took it a step further. Normally they do the leg work of finding potential customers themselves, however doing this costs time and money so instead they decided to have their members do it for them free of charge. So they announced to their members that they were supplying them with free tickets that they could give to their friends and they called it a 'reward' for their member's loyalty. Now that's generosity in the true Port Adelaide way.:p
