Essendon are beating Carlton. How much would we have to lose by tomorrow to move up a pick I wonder?

watching Menzel also gives you that feeling of what morabito could potentially offer if given a run at it...you don't lose footy smarts, maybe the speed and power, but Menzel just knows how to play and where to be

This is the Melbourne Football Club that we know, didn't buy into the hype after their win against Hawthorn, you just knew they'd find a way to embarrass themselves.

The Hawks turfed him too, eases the pain a bit
Yeah, 24-25 years old and on his third club, just took him a long time to hit his straps. Neither did Hawthorn. Geelong didn't unravel him until round 18 either. He wasn't at any club in 2015, was playing VFL I think.
Nothing to do with our development, you can't hang around waiting forever for a guy who didn't play a game in the four years he was listed at two clubs. .

Essendon are gonna lose their number 1 pick.
At 3/4 time they were dangerously close to slipping ahead of Brisbane.

Carlton's last quarter resurgence ensured that didn't happen (funny that).

Brisbane can still claim the spoon if they lose with a scoreline of 59-120ish or 77-150ish.

Freo pinched him from the Hawks with the go home factor, he played wafl last season and had a great season after starting late with injuries. RTB tried to play him as a tagger, that worked well, amazing as soon as Simon Lloyd left for the cats he gets a start there, again had injuries at start of the year but now showing what both Hawks and Freo recruiting departments saw to draft him.

amazing as soon as Simon Lloyd left for the cats he gets a start there...
Didn't know that. I don't hold it as a development failure on our part, though - lots of blokes take a while to be worth the shot.
Barlow comes to mind.
