I know that this might be an unpopular opinion but playing the NZ national anthem? Seriously? There was no need for it and it dilutes the experience for Australian viewers IMO. I wouldn't expect them to play our national anthem in their country either.
It's ANZAC day mate, Australian AND New Zealand.

I was more annoyed they didn't play the whole NZ anthem. Needed the Maori as well.

I think many people have the bombers a chance simply because of last week and how they played against us. We simply didn't turn up last week. The Pies are ferocious at the footy today and that's all it was going to take to rip the bombers apart.

It's men against boys out there, but the pies are still an average team, which will show when they get smashed next week by west coast.

Found this interesting....

How can it possibly be a legitimate attempt to mark if it was after the siren went?
Yep. If Joel can get a week for shoving his brother over that stupid needless and dangerous effort to mark is worth 3. Dangerfield was not expecting or braced for contact at all. He would still be sore from it and I wouldn't be surprised if he was rested this week.

Yes I'm sure that all Australians felt a great deal of significance and pride when the anthem was played on our home soil....
... and I'm sure the Turkish felt great significance and pride at both national anthems and God Save the Queen being played this morning at Gallipoli. More than just us mate.

Shame the scores aren't reversed. Shame Kelly isn't 20 & 4 instead of Goldsack. Was looking forward to this thinking Buckley was going to be sacked tomorrow morning :(

Edit: not Goldsack I meant Sidebottom

Goldsack is close to Sidebottom though I don't know how you got confused between the two.

It was a legitimate attempt to do grievous bodily harm to Dangerfield and nothing else.Weak by the MRP and wrong the prick should have been suspended and everyone else involve afterwards both sides exonerated as expected and excepted response.

Fyfe likely out for the year, Johnson long term hurt as well

By that stage they will be stuffed and if Lyon has any brain won't play 211 and will be looking to the future
I hadn't seen the Fyfe thing shame one of my favourite players to watch,he can do it all I wish him a full and quick recovery.
