Lordy, started reading through more intensively. Love seeing the likes from Vinum, SJ and LunchLadyDoris to all the melty posts.

I've been here long enough that I know the clubs of many posters but for others there's no need to guess. Hawk without a doubt :D

I love how much they hate Selwood. Delicious tears.
I like Sellwood :(

Given the Dockers year so far, had a read of their board for some inspiration.

WOW... they seem to think their rebuild will take 12-18 months and they'll be back.

Good luck to them if they can do it.

Of course, people would actually have to want to go there.

Im sure they will start winning games soon - but a 12 month turnaround seems optimistic..

Considering we started 5 years ago.....
It's not like they can just grab 6 X 24 year old jets.

Well they HAVE only ever made one Grand Final, and lauded the players for "the effort", perhaps a "rebuild" only takes 18 months when mediocrity is your goal.

Have I missed the AFLs response and condemnation this week to the blatant knees delivered to two champions of the game Ablett and Dangerfield, with the soul intention to cripple them for the remainder of the match and maybe longer,FFS Mitchell now looks hard done by being cautioned for running around corking players.

I bet they love watching highlights of the last three finals series too.

As usual. No relevance. That's the 2nd time you've made a similar response.
Yep. No relevance. The aim of footy is to win premierships. Worrying about whether some opposition fans might be obsessed with some of our players varies between hilarious and pathetic.

Just looking at this coming round. Certainly going to sort the men from the boys in terms of tipping this week. Can see 4 or 5 games which can go either way:

- North vs Bulldogs: Top of the table clash. Dogs are hit by injury, but do play Etihad extremely well.
- Melbourne vs St.Kilda: Dees are in good form, but don't have a good record at Etihad.
- GWS vs Hawthorn: Hawthorn are a champion team and find ways to win, but GWS did win the corresponding fixture last season, and look even better this year.
- Richmond vs Port Adelaide: Both teams have hit rock bottom. Which team will find some form and find a way to win?
- Carlton vs Essendon: Carlton will be buoyed after breaking their duck against Freo, but the Bombers will be keen to atone from their flogging on Anzac Day, and have shown that they're generally more competitive than people were thinking they would be.

one of those Hawthorn mods have started a thread dedicating some perverse thinking as to why his/her team is the most hated team in the country.
It's garnered a lot praise from Hawthorn folk. Very sickening read. Sickening in that the intended piece has the opposite effect on you. The piece becomes more about the Hawthorn supporter opposed to the football club he/she is trying to defend.

If anyone gets a chance, have a read over this https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/hawthorn-have-headf-ed-everyone.1130534/ believe me, it may make you cringe at the beginning but by the end, you come away feeling a happier person as you realize just how tormented (possibly due to some sort of sexual assault he/she copped as child), insecure and delusional the person who wrote it is.
Don't bother reading their false forums. Time better spend joining the eternal crusades of bae 13.
