GWS

2. Andrew McGrath
4. Will Setterfield (academy selection)
11. Harry Perryman (academy selection)
36. Zachary Sproule (academy selection)
39. Kobe Mutch (academy selection)
40. Isaac Cumming (academy selection)
65. Quinton Narkle
67. Tyson Stengle

Three elite talents (McGrath, Setterfield & Perryman) in the first round make this draft a winner for GWS. Would've liked to have grabbed Macreadie, however he was bid on earlier than expected an we didn't want to go into deficit for the 2017 draft. Sproule is an interesting pick, he's grown on me in the last few weeks and I think he could turn into a versatile swingman - in the same vein as Justin Westhoff. Mutch is a bargain at 39, however I think he'll go earlier in the real thing and be unmatched by GWS. Cumming could develop into a direct replacement for Heath Shaw, which would release McGrath to play through the midfield. The two non-academy boys that were selected late in the draft add something different to the list. Narkle in particular could be a real diamond in the rough, he plays in the same aggressive manner that the Giants have become renowned for. The club would've selected Fisher and Garthwaite in the rookie draft had they made it through.

North Melbourne:

Pick #77 - Hisham Kerbatieh

North won't get him stretching into the RD, so we'll reach for him here.
Not quite an Ainsworth, but has enough Puopolo's about him to give him the chance.
It's pick 81, but otherwise sure!

I'm up with Hawthorn @ 82, and I'm taking:

Liam Baker, who is still on the board it seems! Small, but way too capable as a footballer and athlete to overlook here.

Cringle you're up
