Oi Harker.
Stop talking up the guys I want before my pick
So would GWS I suspect.Wow. I would have taken Sproule.
Just that we havent been doing Academy changes for them, so it would be out of whack. It's worth doing a 3rd round, still plenty of kids available

Don't know much about the kids available at this pick.
Purely picking by needs for the Bulldogs here. We've taken Collins as a KPD in the previous draft, we'd like another medium defender with Bob Murphy retiring very soon.
Pick 31. Alex Witherden, 186cm, 80kg.
Having sustained a broken leg this year, there is some upside that could be realised with development. And with the Bulldogs fairly well stocked in defence for now, there is certainly ample time.
KM describes Alex as having a penetrating kick, good vision, composure, decision making and intercept marking ability.
Edit: Having done a little article reading, Alex has played through the middle in juniors, so there is also scope to... push into the midfield.
So would GWS I suspect.
Zach Sproule
198 cms, 84 kgs, GWS/Murray Bushrangers
Sproule has flown under the radar a little after kicking 16 in 8 in last year's TAC competition, mostly due to him playing further away from goals or in defence to allow the less versatile Marshall and over-age (yet possibly still GWS eligible) Tizani.
Tall, athletic and an excellent kicking action for both goal and general disposal, there are shades of Tom Lynch in his athleticism and approach to football. His style will particularly thrive alongside Jeremy Cameron, provided he continues to develop his fitness once in AFL environment, which seems a no-brainer given his work ethic in matches.
I'm not hugely across this next tier of draftees, but I sifted through about 15 names and 4 stood out to me. He was the top of that four because of his mobility, contested marking ability and his skills.Lots to work with apparently, but those clips didn't exactly knock me over.
You're up again BlugaziHawks have already taken Witherden, try again blue_boyz14
