For the trade future picks, i'm going off this article http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-07-05/indicative-draft-order-giants-suns-set-for-2016-draft-windfall
Geelong or Hawks champ?
We need a tall forward, marshall would be good, if not available at first pick then i think we will target a good ball using midfielder, or big bodied inside mid. We should be looking at a tall ruck forward later in the draft or project power forward. Our needs are at least one big forward, one ruck, one classy ball using mid, one big bodied mid and maybe a key back late in the draft.I'll take Port
Thats the obvious logic isn't it Sin, they havent got many contested inside beasts, especially since Jobe came off the juice and well now will soon be retiring.Pick 1 - Essendon - Will Brodie
To me there are two clear standouts at the top of the draft but picking for Essendon is much easier. They already have a terrific bunch of running on ballers in Heppell, Merrett, Zaharakis and Parish so Brodie is the big bodied clearance and contested ball winner that will feed it out to the others. Perfect replacement for Jobe Watson and a star that you can build a midfield around.
Chasing 17
I'd rather not contribute FBI but you are a really good poster.
