Oliver Florent
I'll do a brief write up shortly.

FlowersByIrene you're up.

I really like this guy. Finds a way to navigate himself through difficult situations, doesn't panic and works quickly.

I know he hasn't got the poise of Parish but I feel they have the same thing ticking over upstairs. Good pick HBF.

Cheers Harks.
I like for those reasons you have mentioned above.
A bit surprised he was still there to be honest.

Gold Coast Suns select....

Jack Graham, gruntish inside mid with clean hands.

Jack Graham (SA)
Best position:
Inside midfield
Height, weight: 183cm, 85kg
Recruited from: North Adelaide
Plays like: Levi Greenwood
Projected draft range: first round to third round
Rated last month: 21
Rationale behind ranking/change of ranking: Seemed to hit peak form during the under-18 championships. This year's Larke medallist would be rated more highly if he was a more reliable kick.
Strengths:
- Production
- Stoppage work
- Wins first possession at stoppages
- Contested-ball winning
- Wins 50/50 ground balls
- One-on-one strength
- Distribution by hand
- Tackling
- Clean hands
- Hits stoppage at speed, winning contested ball on the move and bursting out other side with ball in hand
- Versatility to play a role down back
Weaknesses:
- Inconsistent ability to hit targets by foot
- Not a marking threat overhead

Carlton selects Tyson Stengle.

High half forward from SA. Has a beautiful kick on him and can have a real impact in the midfield. I think with a professional program he could become a great utility mid for us with his speed and vision down back or in attack.

Can go missing a bit and a little inconsistent but I think his upside is too tempting despite some of the other names still available.

Seriously though, weights his kicks just right and almost always to the advantage side of his team mate, rare trait for Carlton players. Plays a similar position to Dahlhaus but I doubt his contested numbers would be as high.

Someone else please bid on Daicos and Brown to keep Collingwoods draft realistic :)

If Vilis and Florent had been gone at my last pick it was a bid on Daicos.

If I hadn't already selected my nuggety, disciplined and strong endurance mid in the first then I would have followed that with a bid on Cal Brown.

I like this as a trial run though.

When we come back to this post-trade week I fully intend to have a list and a bidding strategy

Richmond are still convinced that they've got a serious team of contenders on their hands, and Hardwick needs wins next year not development.

With that in mind:

Richmond selects Luke Ryan (Coburg). Medium defender.

VFL player - tick

Overager - tick

Think you've nailed Richmonds pick. :)
