Kerr is the guy to partner with Dixon if you want to go down that route.

Is there a big/small/likely chance we will pick up acadamy products: setterfield, perryman, scheer

they're all inside mids

Perryman - no chance
Setterfield - no chance
Scheer - Some chance at 9.

Although small in size and we have had plenty of those I like the look of zac fisher. 175cms looks a natural ball winner, racks up the ball and smart footballer. Not with our first pick but if available late/rookie I wouldn't mind him

We need to be offloading tiny players, not adding more.

If you load your rookie list up with small guys, the best case scenario is you get a good small guy.

If you load your rookie list up with ruckmen, the best case scenario is you get a good ruck.

We got good small guys.

Think it would be a great idea to get 2 top 20 picks. The draft has great depth and IMO the top end talent is mAde of about 7-8 players, then there's a next tier. For example the dogs did this last year, with one pick got duckley. This would not only set us up for the future but give us 2 high selection. This is a good year to 'double dip'

This draft is very shallow on the player types we need most

We aren't particularly shallow on midfielder/flankers under 182cms or third talls, which seem to be a lot of this draft.

Guts midfielders that have proper size are what we need, but they're not hugely strong this year and availability is limited by academies.

Looks like Mackie / sam Gilbert to me. I think he is gone before our pick anyway. Heard some official looking footy types drooling about him.

I want a real mid who can kick goals. I'm dreaming of sps.

I really want Dylan Clarke at Port. I'm thinking Luke Parker. I really don't want drew.

Scharenberg can't kick. Massive Shame.

I want Hayward on our list. He's got x factor and upside.

FATHER-son prospect Ben Jarman is the early standout at the NAB AFL Draft Combine, finishing in the top-10 for all of the skills testing.

The South Australian midfielder, who can join Adelaide and Hawthorn as a father-son pick given his dad Darren's career at both clubs, was one of three joint winners in the clean hands test on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.

Alongside classy midfielder Oliver Florent and defender Ryan Garthwaite, Jarman scored 28 of a possible 30 points in the clean hands exercise, which sees prospects having to gather the ball at ground level before shooting off handballs at different distances.

I would have thought there was a lot of big bodied midfielders in this draft.
