What was Young's beep test?I would have thought a beep test is very important for a midfielder. If you have a natural footballer (e.g. Scharenberg)with a have a poor beep test and poor disposal then you don't have much of a future. If you have a natural footballer (e.g.Clarke) with a good beep and good kicking test (when they are considered your weakness) then you have a future. If Scharenberg can't make it as a mid then what is he?

The reason behind the question is that the only thing that has stopped him from being an elite midfielder is that he just doesn't get enough touches.
Yeah it could be lots of things, but does anyone know how he went at the testing?Sometimes it's aerobic capacity and other times it's running to the right places and other times it's a mindset to keep running.
Reliable scuttlebutt is that they will let Jarmen go for a later pick ... Port have earlier picks & can get him if they want. Advertiser article today has him well rated. I am ambivalent, but his Crows connection doesnt put me off ... The Cornes' boys are a clear example of how Port can win over dead-set Crow boys & turn them into die-hard Port players!I think 'the vibe' is that he's pretty desireable. And of course the crer-related meltdowns would be fun. But firstly he'd be highly unlikely to not be F&Sd by either, or not want to be. And second if we did snag him he'd probably just serve his 2 years then request a trade out anyway.

Neither Port nor the cows have a second - Jarman is unlikely to go for a first and will be gone by 46 or 50. However good he is he is another of the type of 175cm player we have.Reliable scuttlebutt is that they will let Jarmen go for a later pick ... Port have earlier picks & can get him if they want. Hartlett was a HUGE crows man in his school days is another perfect example.
Id love he we pulled the crows first chance at a father son pick from under their noses and tuned him into a star.

Looks more likely to nominate for the Hawks but given their interest in JOM and Titchell will they have much left to pick him up?
if we are planning to take a project ruck, it should be one of Olango/Darcy IMOhttp://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-10-09/highleaping-ruck-prospect-tony-olango-gives-soccer-the-boot
Would make a good project ruckmen
wouldnt mind him.Shai bolton with a third anyone?
Pick 9wouldnt mind him.
as long as we get a good inside mid with good kicks first....
I like the fact that he has the leap and athleticism that the game is trending towards as a requirement of the ruck position.if we are planning to take a project ruck, it should be one of Olango/Darcy IMO
different types of rucks though
same, but Darcy is the big brute in the Mummy mouldI like the fact that he has the leap and athleticism that the game is trending towards as a requirement of the ruck position.
