If he falls to us I'd be stoked but I can't see Gold Coast passing up on him especially with them looking for midfield depth

I've got Taranto higher on my list so i'd go with him. SPS could end up better, but also could end up worse. Taranto is safer.

I think he could. We might start playing him in the back line/forward line with stints in the middle - his tackling is ferocious and I'd say we'd see a bit of magic here and there - would take a bit to adjust and find some consistency though.

Not sure if serious question, if you're talking about our first 22. Let me put it this way: would you rather see SPS or Neade running around for us?

Sadly, I agree, SPS won't be around at our pick. If he is, we should grab him by all means, over "the safe choice" Taranto who is going to be a very good get and... I think more likely to be around for us now, given all the GC picks ahead of us (someone please think about that, I have no idea what I'm doing).



Freo traded out Mayne, traded in KPF McCarthy, bigger HFF in Kersten, Hill on the wing... hard to believe they will take anyone but SPS with their first.
