Battle is 192 cm
Gunston is 193 cm
Tom Lynch is 191 cm
Darling is 191 cm
He could he easily be a 2nd key forward.

Bowen Lockwood was a fantastic player. Injury stuffed him.
See i would see them as forwards who roam. I would not consider any of them as being a key forward.Battle is 192 cm

That's a fair comment, but arguably a roamer is a better foil for Dixon than a second traditional KPF would be.
True, but a roaming forward would just about be pointless in our side given our way of bringing the ball forward, it's very much kick it long to a contest.
All of those guys mentioned previously play in sides that create space, honour leads, and work hard with blocks etc to give their teammates room to move in to. We just don't play that way. Hell, even Dixon - with his height - struggles with guys jumping all over him most games.
Change the method and a roaming forward would be a decent get, stay the same and they'd struggle at that height.

Agree. But I don't mind forwards who roam and lead after watching the stagnant way our forward line functioned this year.See i would see them as forwards who roam. I would not consider any of them as being a key forward.
With four picks in the top 30, there's a better than usual chance that we'll actually pick one player (just one, let's not get greedy), that has actually been mentioned on this board.

Hahaha I came here to post the exact same thing.
Step 1: pick up Barrett or Barlow as a DFA.
Step 2:
14: Berry
17: Battle
30: Kerr or Cox
31: SPP/Clarke/Drew/Scharenberg
85: upgrade Krakouer
Rookies (assuming 2 free picks): best ruck available, Liam Ryan.
If we don't DFA Barrett or Barlow, we should probably make it two mids at 30 and 31, and rookie the best remaining KPF rather than Liam Ryan.
I would like to throw another name up there that's Jordan gallucci. we desperately need blokes who can actually kick the pill. Theres no footage of witherden due to his broken leg who im keen on and is described as classy. Galluci however, Starting at 45 seconds, as a bottom ager gives me an immediate. Good leap, skills, xfactor and pace all shown in that one play. Very low to the ground
Jy Simpkin another option med fwd/mid very smart broke his leg was predicted to go top 10 now 15-20
We do draft lots of blokes, not the majority, but a significant percentage who have one major injury of lots of problems eg hamstrings and missed a big chunk of the year we draft them in. This would be consistent with what we have done since we drafted Jacko in 2008 who slide from top 10-15 to 22 due to his knee injury all through to Johnson last year who had multiple hamstring issues and played only a handful of games in the season we drafted him in.Jy Simpkin another option med fwd/mid very smart broke his leg was predicted to go top 10 now 15-20
