Oh ****. I thought is was going to be a saturday. The first time in years i dont have to work on the thusday and they move it. I was all set for a session on the saturday.
Bugger I coach little aths on a friday night. Oh well it probably delays my abusive texts to macca when we draft battle.
was it as bad as his career was?I love those texts! Your reaction when i told you we drafted Harvey was priceless!

Live Port fan radio would be excellent..we could cope with the pauses...otherwise I guess I'll be forced to listen to radio for all South Australians FivefaarkGood question!

I find it difficult to credit that English, Bowes, Brodie and Berry would slip that far. I also find it difficult to believe that Berry would be taken at 21 when we have 15 and 17. Marshall and Battle I'm not so sure about.Matt Balmer mock draft

37 S Bolton (w/coast) we better not let Bolton slide pass 2nd rounders
Disagree- there's a difference between accumulators (Kane) and ball winners (J.Carr). We need the latter not the former.
So Venables, Berry, SPP, Marshall, Simpkin, Witherden all available at pick 14. For those in the know what is the best combination from those options?Matt Balmer mock draft

In the end, it all comes down to personal preference. There's not THAT much separating that first group, and even separating that group from the second group isn't a huge difference. So Venables, Berry, SPP, Marshall, Simpkin, Witherden all available at pick 14. For those in the know what is the best combination from those options?
Scharenberg, Clarke, Bolton, Atley all available at pick 30 and 31. What do we do there?
Make it happen we need you guysPressure is on now. Let me see what we can do.
With Hayward unlikely Simpkin as x factor fwd/mid is my preference along with Venables who looks like he could be a gun. As for 30,31 id take Bolton if available if not Clarke/Atley then look at a Ridley or Rotham if thereWatched some more highlights:
Hayward is going to be special. In the All-Stars game he seemed to get some midfield time and found space in close quarters with good handball release. His goal sense is phenomenal and can't be taught.
Venables looks like someone who could bring real power to the midfield. Has X-factor and scope to be Dangerfield like.
Drew looks a beauty. Faster than I had realised. Would be a steal at 30.
Clarke - clearance machine.
That's the combination for me. Two reliable accumulators in the midfield and two mid-forwards - one with power, the other with class and nous.
IMO if they are complemented by getting guys like Drew or Clarke later in the draft.[/QUOTE said:Is it just me or does Clarke have a shocking kicking action, it's an awkward stabby motion that looks really unreliable. Would absolutely pick Drew over Clarke.
If the right mid isn't available at 17 im all for taking Battle or MarshallThe value of Venables, Simpkin or Hayward as picks increases IMO if they are complemented by getting guys like Drew or Clarke later in the draft.
