Perhaps not, perhaps so.
He's as a good a key back as we have but withBrown, Marsh and the support ofmaynard, Langdon, Williams et al
Reid may Be released to be the big support for Cloke.
That's when Cloke goes best, anyway let's see how it transpires

He won't play up there. Moore and Cloke will do the job.

Reid won't be seen in the fwd line .
Unfortunately White will struggle to get a game due to stiff competition from Cox.
Not sure if Cox is ready, hopefully towards the later half of the year. Witts is ahead of Cox, remember Witts was coming off shoulder surgery that restricted his development last pre season. For the record I would love to see Cox make it.

Nothing like stiff competition
Big erect ruckmen, hard to come by (count the double entendres in that small statement)
I heard someone quite innocently say the other day: "Gee Cox goes in hard" The person couldn't understand why the rest of us burst out laughing

His size, his name
It's a big gift to double entendres - where's graham Kennedy when you need him.

Hmmmm Cyril said, that Mason cox is sooooo big, he gets my side bottom blank.........

In the old days when people joked a touch

My predictions:

Cox to be upgraded to the senior list in place of Scharenberg.

At least 2 of our remaining premiership players are playing out their final year with the black and white.

Jackson Ramsay (injury depending) to become our most important small. His ability to release Williams will play a major role in improving that back 6 as a collective.

Jesse White to continue to be the ultimate tease.

Lastly Broomhead top 5 B&F.

With you completely. Coz should be ready mid season. Witts & Grundy combo to persist with for the 1st half. In those scenario's White won't be a regular which is a pity.

re cox - fair call - hope you are right
re final yr for premiership players- leading candidates Swan, Caff, Toovey for various reasons
re Ramsay - I haven't seen enough of him to know but would be happy if you are right
re White - probably the safest prediction
re Broomhead - would love this to happen but assuming Pendlebury, Treloar & Sidebottom are injury free they each presumably have a mortgage on top 5 spots so there's not a lot of room.

For me, without having given it a lot of thought, if Ben Reid or Travis Cloke are top 5 B&F then we make finals. If both make it we make top 4. (Reasoning, 2 key players that combined with our more consistent producers and improving youth would produce a higher ladder position.)

I'm just a person that thinks there are allot of players out there that get treated harshly has a really cool Avatar.

EFA

One of my favourite places on the planet. I've just got some of my pics of Monument valley printed out on A0 to hang up on the wall, looks awesome! :)

... cause they are not doing what the supporters and media think they should be doing but they are doing what the club is asking of them. Which means the fault could lie in the instructions to the player rather then in the player.

To be fair, I think the knock on White might have something to do with ...

... White has the ball in hand in the forward line, the clock is winding down in the last quarter, if he kicks a goal he puts Collingwood in front and becomes a hero! :) But no, he fluffs it :( . Happened a few times last year.

It would have taken only around three straight kicks in 2015 for White to have a positive profile comparable to Elliott.

I'd love to know what was said to White during his 2015 season debrief?

Perhaps we took a leaf out of Worsfold's coaching manual and it was toughen up princess?

A harder edge physically and mentally in 2015 and his season goes from solid to good. Can't be helped unfortunately...

Maybe with a more consistent and performing team across the board White improves and won't be put in these position to close out games. I'm not condoning his 2015 but I think that he could improve as the team improves around him.

He's played in good teams at Sydney and he was solid ala 2015, but he's 27 this is it for him, IMO. As it is there's so many little things that could help take him to the next level he's an "almost" player though...

The big positive is that he, Cloke and Moore make for a good front 3 because they're all very mobile we just need to hope that the club aren't crazy enough to go with 2 ruckmen. Let those 3 build some chemistry with Howe, Broomhead, Fasolo and Elliott running through there and that could be dangerous.

We just can't expect too much from White individually.

Edit: it goes without saying that I would love him to prove me wrong and have a Jenkins 2015 type season.

"If a donor becomes available, we'll get you in for that heart transplant as soon as we can"
But seriously, I think he would have been told his position was under threat from 2 young guys who want to permanently take it from him and that he needed to do more when opportunities present.

Going just by expiring contracts, that's two of Caff, Blair, Brown, Sidebottom, Toovey, Swan ... Yep, seems plausible.

Jackson Ramsay (injury depending) to become our most important small. His ability to release Williams will play a major role in improving that back 6 as a collective.

Who else is considered "small" these days?

Jesse White to continue to be the ultimate tease.

You're implying that he's going to be getting a fair number of games?

Lastly Broomhead top 5 B&F.

You predicted Ramsay would become our most important small - and yet Broomy top 5?

Our 2015 5th placed B&F was Sidebottom playing 16 games. You think Broomy can match that? Big call, but I hope you're right!

Any truth to my hunch this is your lair.
It appears a very expensive piece of real estate has been advertised in the theme of batman

1. Caff, Toovey and Swan prime candidates.

2. Anyone under 185cm, IMO.

3. I'd hope so because we'd be bonkers playing two rucks.

4. Yep most important and Broomhead finishing that high would have him as just about our best. The distinguishing factor is that our rebound from D50 was horrendous in 2015 so Ramsay being fit to release Williams and provide drive of his own is crucial.

5. Easily kids a freak just needs to work harder to get to more contests, but I think he'll need to be better than that because we were shit for half of 2015 and that won't cut it (from a team perspective) in 2016.
