I don't doubt your tale and it seems to ring true with most of the commentary surrounding the Clinton/Trump race. Many many people were angry and disillusioned with the ''corporate politics'' of America and rightly looked for an alternative.

But to suggest the crying and whining from the Trump camp would be any less is disarming. I suspect DT would have smashed apart America in his quest for ''truth''.
Amazing - nothing like it
They would have bitched sure
But even if you were right - the moral equivalence damns the democrats - they propagate decency and moral superiority not republicans - it's the scale of hypocrisy that is beyond belief.

Trump has immediately aligned himself with the military industrial complex and the US multinational oil industry. His Presidency is shaping to be the Republican equivalent of the Democratic oligarchy. Have fun defending Trump as a warrior of freedom over the next four years :thumbsu:
You need find more distinctions- big oils interest are not necessary aligned with warmongering quite the opposite - usually.

The control of energy is the basis of empire. Control of oil is literally THE key factor in US strategic thinking post WW2 after they essentially choked the Japanese Empire of oil in WW2.

The statement: "big oils interest are not necessary aligned with warmongering quite the opposite" is so absurd in theory and practice of US foreign policy, I think you should sit down and have a real honest personal reflection about how your thought process had led you to the point of making that nonsense statement. You're either easily propagandised by the Republican Party or so eager to be ruled by Trump that you'll twist yourself in to any position to justify his looming crony capitalism and oil imperialism Presidency.

Trump officially boss of the US come Jan 20. Will be a great day. Trump is a true leader.
Assuming he makes it to Jan 20....Seems to be plenty in the Pentagon just itching for a war with Russia.

The Russians are using dumb bombs in residential areas - hardly heroic.

Syria is a mess and although this isn't a "one side vs other" scenario (PKK / Daesh / Resistance movement / pro-gov forces all make it a mess) Putin is furthering the interests of Russia first, second and last. He's in no way some sort of altruistic pseudo UN there.
True....But it's the yanks, Nato & Israel who are funding the terrorist death squads.

Now....Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong....But wasn't/isn't this suppose to be a war on terror?

In his book, Gen. Flynn, Trumps National Security Advisor, is looking for the US to impose itself on "radical Islam" and Russia who are in cahoots along with Cuba and China to destablise the US. That normally manifests itself by Flynn pushing intelligence towards the White House that justifies war with Iran.

The hate boners that Flynn & Mattis have for Iran are a bit of a worry & probably what I'm most concerned with re: Trump

Cool
Can we finally bring back the n word ?

Isn't it funny how so often these PC arguments come down to someones right to want to use racial slurs without consequence

Isn't it sadder still that Making racial slurs a taboo has in reality immeasurably deteriorated the lives of the traditionally oppressed minorities.

Although it has helped conceited guilt ridden white people feel better about themselves because they can exercise a certain careful verbal gymnastics and avoid offending anyone. All the while enjoying the very benefits of the oppression they condemn.

How pathetically Christian.

oh contraire
The armament industry requires continual war
Oil needs a stable government to cash in on the conquest.
Otherwise the conquests like Iraq & Libya don't reap the benefit to big energy companies.

Arms industry needs planes bullets and hardware to be endlessly used and reserved reordered. The two can work in harmony if and only if a stable alternative government is formed.

Think thru consequences
It's a habit we have culturally abandoned in favour of snap judgements of good evil.

She had been cleared by the FBI... still to this day his clan are screaming lock her up...
She had been cleared. There was no case. Do you understand?
The media pursued a non event while letting things like vilifying Mexicans, women and Muslims go through. Pussy grabbing (gate is demeaning to gates), was all that marginally warmed the media, and that was because it came at a stage when the reality of their bias was becoming self evident. And they felt the need to correct the path. It was their guilt in being complicit in allowing trump to occur through inept reportage that started to become their ethical burden .. this is the reality, or you can believe trump.
You do realise that most of what comes out of his mouth is falsehood... or is this a point of contention? LOL
She was only cleared a week or two before the election, & before that the finding was that she had been "extremely carless" with classified information. That's a story, it's not a non event. The villification of Mexicans was a false narrative in my, and a lot of others opinions - his stance has always been against illegal immigrants, not legal ones. Plenty of hispanics voted for him, especially the Cubans in Florida.

Since when did passing out mean really sick? Most people have passed out at some points in their lives and most are perfectly healthy at the time. Running for an election is a brutal exercise of flights, rallies and speeches and tv interviews. Most people couldn't take it.
I know that I couldn't, but passing out when you're just standing around still isn't normal.

Republican Party gonna Republican Party. Still aren't over 1979.
History says you're right....However, going into Iran could be just the trigger for WW3.

Sanity & congress are poles apart....That's what happens when you sell-out your country to Israeli control & paranoia.

Firstly no it doesn't.

Israel, and Turkey along with a number of US oil subbies have made an absolute fortune from oil stolen from Iraq by IS and smuggled through Kurdistan, in essence stealing money from the state owned oil companies of the Iraqi Government and the Iraqi people.

Secondly, the armaments industry is irrelevant. The US government doesn't invade other countries just so that they can use up more munitions, that's completely unnecessary. They invade other countries and project power to control resources, sea lanes, communication lines and bend states with resources to their will.

I can't believe I even need to make this point, the US military in various shapes has been the fist behind Western control of energy supplies over the last 50-60 years. Whether that's guaranteeing the security of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, support for Iran followed by hostility, support for Iraq followed by war with Iraq.

Yes the military is used to protect energy companies. That s when politics is working.
But none of that reaps the profits actual war does. That's when mega profits are made from all angles

I can't believe I need to spell that out either.
