2016 SC Team Structure

Was not happy with the team after a month of constant adjustments, so cleared and rebuilt it.
I'm a little more comfortable with the risk of running mid-pricers in defence compared to rookies, and as a result I've settled for additional rooks in the mid and fwd lines.
I've got no doubts that this is likely to change between now and Thursday evening.

I actually think Def is the strongest line for rookies with js this year FWIW

I'm not so sure, outside of Weitering and Brown/Hartley it's a bit of a crapshoot.

They are all a chance of playing but for how long and when? Reckon only Weitering is locked in long term and probably Dea/Brown/Hartley/Tip but even then who knows what Essendon are going to do every week? Adams might be a decent chance too but the rest of them? Not so sure.

I'm with you Oz, but still think there is more there than with the mid rookies for instance

Always love these threads, people always class their 450k picks as premo's because they think they'll boost their average this year.

Do people class Wells and Mills etc as rookies or mid pricers? I am classing them as rookie priced still.

Bryne got elevated last week which is a good sign for him getting some games, perhaps even on Thursday so keep an eye out. Not sure about his scoring ceiling though.

Absolutely, the mid rookies are utter crap this year, outside of Mills who is exactly locked in for a round one appearance? Davis should be one to go but even he hasn't been elevated yet. I'm not convinced that Oliver is considering they're pretty adamant that Brayshaw will come in to their round 1 side, Gresham is a maybe, I'm betting that Hewett will be named but how long he stays in there given their outs? Kennedy from GWS could be one that sneaks under the radar and strings some games together.

Could be the year to start one or even two of the M/F rookies in the mids and even experiment with a mid-pricer in there.

Kennedy only played one NAB game, 53% TOG but scored 63. $166,800 and probably the bloke I'll go to if Gresham isn't named and even then they have a pretty stacked midfield and blokes that can already rotate through there coming off of the forward line.

Hewett is the one I'm hoping can break into their 22 long term, reckon he has the scoring potential to start on field and make a lot of cash.

It doesn't matter what he does, going into this year he's a premium. He may perform as a premium or he may be dissapointing, but he's a premium. Last two years he's played has averaged 108 = premium. His price doesn't matter.
