Yep, he's saying it's incorrect
maybe saints don't care abut tom lee and cbf announcing it.

he's been let down by 2 coaching groups now in getting flipped flopped every year his position, way to hard to impress at VFL level, surprised he didnt ask for a trade to

Toyd turned it on as the game wore on but how many touches did he have in the first 1/4? Was Stringer-like horrible, actually no Stringer could at least get his hands on it when he was kicking balls out on the full. Boyd kicked 3 and Swans kept bombing it on his head against smaller blokes but he did well to keep clunking them. Played well but performance was overrated imo.

I may be wrong but there is still no justification for the Boyd trade for me. Peter Wright is already a much better player and would be playing on a tenth of what Boyd got this year.
Mate, what a load of crap. Boyd played great yesterday, was one of the most influential players on the ground that helped the doggies win a flag. If that doesn't justify the trade then what does?

I said he played well, but was beyond horrible in the first quarter.

They could've had Wright and probably someone like Lever with whatever they would've gotten for Griffen.

So could Wright and Lever have also been influential? We'll never know but I still think its a crap trade, regardless of yesterdays result. Dogs got lucky with circumstances, doesn't mean Toyd is now a superstar who deserves all of that coin over his other premiership teammates.

Only reason you recruit a player is to help you win a flag.
Boyd did that. Worth every cent. Just ask any Dogs supporter

Why would anyone care what could've potentially happened with Wright & Lever in the side? The goal is to win a flag, Boyd had big say in that happening. Absolutely laughable to suggest the trade is anything but a massive win now.

Tom Browne reporting Steele to St Kilda is essentially a done deal. He had the inside running on the Carlisle negotiations last year too.

Also mentions WHE to Collingwood on "big money", Pies spending up big on very avg middle of the road players.

I don't think you justify the Boyd trade as being no good because wright is good. Plenty of players don't make it but if use hindsight then you get nothing wrong. The Boyd trade certainly helped them win a flag and when you haven't won one for 62 years then the trade is already a winner. If it stuffs up for the next 5 years I doubt any dogs supporter will give a rats

He's saying they paid a million bucks but could have drafted Wright for nothing more than a draft pick, the development that Boyd had already didn't fast track him over Wright.
