If he is so good why is port playing him off the hbf and trying to offload him. Their own supporters don't rate him that great. I have my reservations and 10 is far more than he's worth. No one would give us a 1st round for Ross and that's about where I rate him. Absurd contract detracts his value even more
Those are some good questions, but some other good questions could be why did another club offer two first rounders for him last year; why were at least one other club meant to be really keen; why did Port give him what was effectively a 6 year contract, on what you would think is very decent coin; why is he VC of their club; and as for the question about why are they playing him across HB, did they have any other decent ball use or drive coming from that area prior to him being moved back there?

As for Ross, I would be shocked if there weren't plenty of clubs who would be happy to pay a first rounder for him. This isn't the 2001 super-draft! He had eight 30+ disposal games this year (at just 23yo) and in the two games when he went head-to-head with the two Brownlow fancies in Dangerfield and Martin, he was BOG!

You are by no means guaranteed of getting someone as good as him with a top 10 pick, let alone the more speculative picks between 10 and 20.

So, how do we get Hartlett and Steele for pick 10?

Steele and pick 16 for 10? - Probably have to give up our third as well to get that deal done.

Port don't have a second round pick to give back to us for pick 10, that would have come close.
The question I'd prefer to have an answer for is how do we get Harlett and Steele and keep pick 10......but maybe I'm greedy

This is how :D

I want Hartlett, the bloke can play and is very much the type we don't have. He's a big body that can go inside and out, uses the ball well and doesn't necessarily need 20+ touches to impact a game. How do we get him? No idea.
haha go watch HH this year and get back to me, i had him in a fantasy keeper league and his impact was so low and turned it over every time he had some pressure

Did he have issues that affected his output/ability to perform this year, such as an injury or injuries?

He was a hell of a lot better in his 3 previous seasons, so I would say it's very likely that something like that was the case. Same reason Steven was a lot less effective in 2014, Robbo's 2014 was pretty much a write-off (despite still playing) and Armo was so down on output this year, etc.

which is what the port post alluded too. apparently he thinks he doesnt have the body or durability to run through the midfield for a lengthy period of time

People keep saying Hartlett is a big body... How is 185cm 80kg 'big'?!

As a comparison, that's smaller than Shane Savage (186cm 82kg) and Nathan Wright (185cm 82kg), about the same size as Jack Newnes (184cm 81kg), and lighter than Jack Billings (184cm 84kg)!

I wouldn't call any of them 'big-bodied'.

Trade Radio whispers say we are looking at trading them to the Pies for Knightmare. He might be a little older but come the off season there is no better performer.

It's hard to let some club champs go but I think the return could be fantastic.
Nope. Moorabbin Ghost and stavro#4 are in the untradeable basket. Sacrilegious to suggest otherwise

There was some mention on TR about HH playing with a broken bone in his foot this season.

So wheres the interesting part?
Well where do you wanna start? Basically Swans will struggle to pay any of their players going forward because of Buddy/Tippett deals..

But the big thing I got from that was essentially Hogan was gone last week but signed Monday, and according to some there's huge angst at Freo as no one wants to go there.. With all the talk of If Fyfe leaves, as well as there poor year this year and Ross' bad reputation with some players.
Opposition players see it as a place of instability.. And let's face it, If Fyfe left and you had to play under Ross during rebuilding years, you'd be ******* questioning why you were delusional enough in the first place to want to go there.

Not sure if Knightmare passes the "No Dickheads" policy.

Zero chance in the world Hartlett is 80kg, he is stacked. That is up there with Serena listing her playing weight at 68kg.
