FWIW, Port website has Hammer at 80kg and Google (assume from Wikipedia) has him at 83kg.

I've just dropped below 83 and you're saying he's not big at 80-83... I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks, fellas.

That said, I'm about 172cm, not 185cm hahaha.

Our club still has both Jimmy Webster and Brodie 'Bull' Murdoch listed at 188cm and 78kg!
Clubs websites can be patchy, but I'm assured by its editor that Inside Football gets the new measurements every year.

FWIW, Webster is now 188cm 83kg and Murdoch 188cm 91kg on IF. They're both still 188cm 78kg on the Saints website.

Hartlett is the same on both.

Did he have issues that affected his output/ability to perform this year, such as an injury or injuries?

He was a hell of a lot better in his 3 previous seasons, so I would say it's very likely that something like that was the case. Same reason Steven was a lot less effective in 2014, Robbo's 2014 was pretty much a write-off (despite still playing) and Armo was so down on output this year, etc.
moved to HB because his tank was way below average for a mid, then spudded it up in defence because they played him loose and he never did the team thing and chopped out for any of his teammates.

offensively he turned the ball over a hell of a lot more than people make him out to have done because when he was pressured he never looks and does the long weird kicks down the middle leading to turnovers.

he's just overrated because people have an image of the type of he should be, he reminds of rich where people think their guns because of all their potential as juniors and th flashes they showed early. both overrated as

no amount of KG's can make up for supreme softness

Absolutely. And I agree 80-83 isn't big at all for AFL, especially for guy that's pushing 6 foot 1. The pure aesthetics of him make him look massive. I haven't watched a lot him over the last few years, but it's obviously all for show

if for some reason we thought we needed that player then i would just go out and offer 2X250k for nicky dal and save pick 10.

Fair enough. I guess we won't be into him then.

How does someone who is "supremely soft" get 17 contested possessions in a final against the likes of Fyfe, Mundy, Barlow and so-on, if you don't mind my asking?

because the role he is going to play for the rest of his career is half back and not a mid

On big footy it seems really hard to get a positive reaction to trading in any established player. They're either good but too expensive or list cloggers.

Youngsters on the other hand are always future guns and steals who will be the second coming of some Brownlow winner or other.

I can't help thinking that this forum is the main reason I only want to give up pick 10 for a collection of kids.

Currently thinking Steele, Corr and Ellis-Yolmen (somehow) would be my ideal if we were to lose pick 10. Changes every hour or so though.
