Just as an FYI for recent history.
We have floated all of our 1st round picks for "sale" in the lead up to trade weeks as it gives off the vibe that we are open to negotiation and thus builds a rapport with people the opposite of what say Dodoro has in being an obstinate inflexible bastard people hate dealing with. This does not mean we intend to actually sell the pick to the first bidder or not engineer a way to get out on an even footing in the trading game where we feel we've at least got scope back to improve our standing.
I'd also be worried if I was JWeb and that sort of player at our club, as with Dmac, with White, with the push for midfielders and rotation to the flanks you've got a bit of a jam that might shake loose a fringe player for a new rotation, or in the case of someone like Owl, a player a club has specifically targeted as a missing link and are willing to pay our value for. So unless you're say Mav, Steven or other entrenched players at the club, you can effectively be bought & sold if you're at least open to the idea of not playing out your days in our jumper.
