Just on the laverde rumours. What would he realistically cost? Around pick 18 2 years ago, hasn't set the world on fire but obviously has some talent. Pick 10 obviously well overs but next years second probably wouldn't be enough. Templeton and next years second for him?

Perhaps, but what if roo spends his last two years (hopefully 2) in the backline and jack (AA CHF) plays his current spot.

Roo played in the backline at time this year and is a great mark, super smart around the ground but perhaps is aging a bit and could provide that tall, fast leadership role.

Maybe why chips is on notice? Jack takes nick spot for next 5 years, roo takes a backline role.

Probably a 2% chance but I'm not sure it's as far fetched as it would first seem.
Why the hell would we put Riewoldt in defence? That's madness.

Had a laugh at moving Nick to the backline and bringing in Jack to play CHF.

We just moved a CHF to the wing so the younger forwards can work together, why would we do it again. May as well just put Riewoldt back to CHF if that's the case.

Flash back to 2009 and yes please. But surely no point now. Who would we leave out of the squad?
Yeah I wouldn't like a J-Roo trade for many reasons, but mainly it would be another year trying to find a new forward structure. We've suffered as a victim of our own success in 2015 & 2016 in terms of unearthing talent - last year it was working out the best use for Bruce in his breakout year, this year same Members, and all throughout trying to get some decent structure with Paddy being in and out of the side.

Once they get a dozen games all together, between Members, Paddy and Bruce we have a very strong forward line, plus Mav bobbing up being an accurate and long kick for goal. Oh, and that old bloke who kicked nine the other day.

If we trade in J-Roo in preference over A grade mids and send Brucey to the backline I'll have an enormous melt on here, and will then throw up on myself and wear it around for a day for everyone to see.

Why even consider moving on any player that's in your best 25- 27 madness what has been suggested on this forum.
You have to give to get.

Maybe not your best/potential 12, but if trading a player improves your list quality why wouldn't you do it?

+5 of your best 27 are playing in reserves every week, why wouldn't you trade them if they had value you push someone out of your 22

Silly suggestions on moving on Bruce or Weller really !!! the +5 is needed in the ressie otherwise you have no depth and a core group of 22 only it won't work so you need the 27 beyond that they become surplus.

Not unless Bruce strolls up the ground or membrey moves into midfield like they said he would when tank is better. I wouldn't mind it. It's more of a top 4 jump though rather than establishing a top 8 spot.

So families reunited.... How many brothers/cousins do we have options for???

Weller
Murdoch
Riewoldt
Jobe Watson
Webster
Goddard but he signed
Would've said Delaney but we delisted him already

So what's likelihood....
Forgive me for I am a bit slow.. What's Jobe Watson's family link?

Trading Bruce and Weller is silly. But if your trading out a best 22 player your not bringing in someone that wont be in your best 22.

The only rumour regarding laverde should be what's the reasoning for not nominating us yet

Chicago Bulls,
Would absolutely give Pick 10 for Lachie Weller. A seriously skillful and quick midfielder which is exactly what we need, the fact that he's Mav's brother and best mates with Hugh G is an added bonus.
Would take a lot more then that. If we didn't want your pick 6 last year why would we accept 10 this year?
