Would take a lot more then that. If we didn't want your pick 6 last year why would we accept 10 this year?
Hahahah
1- that you wouldn't take it, if lachie wants out you would take that to the bank
2- we never offered 5 for Weller ever.

Not to get caught up in what Lachie Weller is worth, but don't you see any difference in Freo 2015 v Freo 2016?

Why would he have signed if he wanted out? I heard that you did.
We didn't get carsile until what, the second last day of trades?
So how could we go and offer pick5 when we knew it had to be used for the carsile deal.

More likely we offered up pick14 which turned into gresh if we offered that, but I doubt talks got that far

Yes, is enrolled at Mentone Grammar, doing quite well for a boy new to the game. Played all year in Mentone first 18, which is probably the standard of a 2nd 18 in a middle of the ladder APS team. He had a day out against Camberwell Grammar, when he kicked 6 goals.

Giovanni M-S has played Balwyn reserves all year.
As a Camberwell Old Boy I take exception to this post!! :p

Freo also would've happily taken our pick 14 for Weller on the final day of trade last year had GWS agreed to trade McCarthy. Its the only reason why Bains and co turned up and stuck around on that final day.

Pick 5 for Lachie was never happening, and Lachie leaving was only ever dependent on Freo needing the pick for Sunshine.

Lachie signing a 2 year contract pretty much cements his spot on Freos list or at least ensures they wont be bent over, so similar to Longer but likelihood of Lachie being traded is as low as Laverde.

Inb4 someone asks almost a lock then?

They should just watch this, it's short but shows why he's closer to our next skipper than Tradeable
Exactly what I said in the Next Skipper thread. No surprise how quick he was elevated into the Leadership Group. Exactly the soldier you would want in Finals. Untouchable!!!

Last year you were in contention, this year you are in full on rebuild mode.

Not saying Weller will leave but the change in conditions is substantial.

And five was never on the table. That was always going to the Bombers on the Carlisle deal.

Big changes at the Dockers and you have Rossy for another 4 years of dross.

Wouldnt blame him for leaving

Well if he wants to leave we are going to be getting a fair compensation. And if no one offers that he'll be staying.

We wouldn't have accepted 14 for him.... No way. What's the point??? Getting back what you paid for him a seemingly weaker draft....

And...? That is the same for every contracted player.
If a deal was done, it would be a win win.

Reason why so many tradable players are contracted.
