No more laverde and Marchbank to fantasise trade about, well that's boring as all hell haha.
Look at finding a way to turn a longer trade into steele and then either take ten to the draft or use it in a trade for a rocky type mid (still sounds 50/50 to go)

Many were saying we will definitely not be keeping pick 10, what do you think now?

Now I'm wondering if they're the same people who think Longer is Gawn mk2

I still think we will try to get 2 high teen picks for pick 10. That is my information if it happens. If it doesn't it will be due to circumstances out of our control.

GWS the obvious target with 15 and 17 (although have academy players to bid for). Gold coast with 21, 22, 24, 27 and plenty of picks will come in for players (16ish from the hawks probable).
I like the idea of top 10 talent coming through the door but with the teams ability to find players like gresh a little later it could be a good move

Well if you're looking for potential trades and Essendon melts, we'd really hate if you guys targeted Shaun McKernan for a trade...

I'm sorry and feel like the grinch who stole christmas.
All I can say is my information at the time of posting was accurate, but late scrambles by Essendon have seen a change of mind.
It happens and I'm sorry for posting this yesterday and jumping the gun in what has proved to be an early crow.
I will be a lot more conservative in what I post on here from now on.

It will be criminal if we don't get steele.
I'd be much more disappointed if we missed on Steele.

Laverde was a hail Mary. Rumours only popped up a week or two ago and everyone thought they were trolls at best at first. We obviously had a bit of a crack, but getting a dyed in the wool supporter out after two years is always a long shot.

Marchbank has been going to Carlton all year. We would have had to offer him something really significant to change his mind.

Steele to St Kilda has been spoken about for months, and he hasn't really been linked to any other clubs. It feels now that he's ours to lose.

Well I hope Bains has the moves because we are down only being linked to Steele and MacKenzie.... Both who might stay at their clubs

Time to just take pick 10, try to bring in a 2nd or late 1st rounder and just go to the draft again
