He laughed off any suggestion he wouldn't be at Richmond next year, then suddenly he wants to go to Geelong or the Bulldogs. He's chasing a premiership, I think that puts us in contention to convince him to come over.
Melb boy, geelong is as far as his premiership aspirations will take him.

You're asking the wrong question

A much better question is how the **** does a guy who kicks 62 goals get so publicly disrespected by the coaching panel

62 & 14th is the question not the answer
He was Top 10,
2016:

Club Champion: Rory Sloane

2: Eddie Betts, 3: Tom Lynch, 4: Daniel Talia, 5: Taylor Walker, 6: Brodie Smith, 7: Matt Crouch, 8: Kyle Hartigan, 9: Charlie Cameron, 10: Josh Jenkins

Why would you care about cheap goals the coaches don't rate?

8th is higher than 14th which is evidence enough that in that example that the player had a more valuable season

Bottom of the barrel big footy doofuses impressed with 62 goals, sticker books, autographs at the sausage sizzle, manning up, yelling baaaallll, and exhortations to "kick it" versus the 5 coaches on the panel.

Yup I'm convinced, just off to see if he'll sign my duffle coat! :D :p
62 goals. Yep...he's useless.

Scott Pendlebury Slams The State Of Player Contracts
"I think it's the end..."

Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury has slammed the state of player contracts in the AFL, suggesting they are becoming increasingly meaningless.

Pendlebury slammed the state of play midway through a whirlwind trade period, suggesting "the only thing contracts are good for is getting home loans".

"I think it's the end of contracts," Pendlebury told Collingwood Media.

"They don’t mean anything anymore."

It follows news players such as Bryce Gibbs, who is contracted until the end of 2019, and Hamish Hartlett, who is tied to Port until the end of 2021, could move clubs this off-season.

"Really, anyone can get out of it whenever they want," Pendlebury said.

"I think even last year, a few players got out of deals that were long term.

"Port Adelaide were trying to get (Hamish) Hartlett to leave and he'd just signed a five-year deal."

Pendlebury suggested more power needed to be shifted back to the clubs to make players honour their contracts.

"You could take it one step further and be really ruthless and give players power but also give the club power to do that," he said.

"Players can request trades to exactly the destination they want to go and clubs don't get a fair return on what they sort of invested with the three or four years.

"It's something that will probably happen in the near future."

Whilst the hypocrisy is annoying I'm glad a light is being shone on this.

Had it not been for Gibbs and Marsh the flow of Vic kids to Melb clubs would have continued unoticed

Find it interesting that Hawthorns pick 10 is likely to go to the lions, who will then offload Hanley to GCS, who will then send OMeara to the Hawks. Really puts a negative value on Rockliff. Id say we're still in the frame here.

IMO Only if we can use a future. ATM it's locked in Gibbs because we don't want to use players and the player we have ooc like Lyons aren't valuable.

He dates one of Choco's daughters. Unless the whole family were moving back I can't see how it's that relevant.

I reckon the AFL Trade Whisperer is Liam Pickering, which means he has a few sources. In his tweets, he is very coy regarding info of his clients such Ablett and Lewis.
My moneys on it being Grant Thomas.....anything to try and stay relevant in the AFL scene...
