Didnt know that. I spent grades 3-6 at Bunyip Primary School and lived there until i was 15 years old.

Shithole and anyone who states otherwise is full of it
Yep. Absolute campaigner of a town full of insufferable people who don't actually realise that they're from Bunyip. Paley is a genuine ****nugget as well. Don't care how good he is, I couldn't support him if he was at North.

From GR's post;
Brad Scott on if North are potential finalists next year: Well it all depends on how much everyone else improves #CoachesBox

I've heard Brad say this twice now in interviews and have to say that I don't like it. Sounds like we're always waiting on others to fail rather than creating our own destiny.

Other than that, I think he's interviewed well and won me back a little. Will wait and see. ...
Yes that type of talk is not that of an optimistic coach with a belief in a new game plan to dominate the competition.
Sounds like a mid tier plodder

Tom Mitchell is not what we need. He is a jet and will improve the Hawks no doubt, but he isn't what we need because he isn't an outside player with speed. We have enough extractors and clearance specialists.
He would be our best midfielder. He should take Swallows spot. Should we look at Motlop, or throw everything at Kelly from GWS?

Jebbusssss stop with the Tom Mitchell shit, if the guy wants to go to hawthorn no amount of money will change people's minds... We threw money at traelor and so did the Tigers and still couldn't land him.
Players go to clubs that can offer more off field or perceived success, we aren't either of those...

I'm not saying we shouldn't try, but every second post is throw X dollars at Mitchell, how do you know the club hasn't and he still wants to go to the dawks...

Its an odd thing to say when you look at it from that perspective. I think he is saying that whether we play finals or not is dependant on the competition not just our development/our team. He doesn't want to lock himself in ala Buckley. He has spoken about the exciting opportunity next year presents, which is more so what we want to hear.

**** motflop. He's no different to hill. Goes missing too much and weak as piss. Would be a big waste of money. Also fails the 'no motlop' rule implemented at north.

If some people here think that recruiting star players is just a matter of going to the players agent and offering xxxx dollars and the player is ours then they are deluded.
But...North!

If i was a star player that is exactly how much it'd take if North called. Obviously there are a lot of other nuts and bolts to sort out but if you are a star player things move around them.

We're in for a down year. No doubt.
Scott knows heats coming.
Finals are a 50/50 chance. If we start getting thumped though he's gone by round 11.
It depends on guys like Atley, the 3 Macs, and Brown taking their games to the next level. If those guys can and then the inexperienced guys in Clarke, Anderson, Daw and Wood can continue to get better with out having to be the difference. Our spine of Taz, Thomo/Loogie, JZ, Brown, W8 is still pretty strong. We just need the runners and ball carriers!

Too many reservations is the overwhelming message I get from his language.
The 12 wins goals reassessment, which backfired on our year, just demonstrates the power of goals setting and the belief surrounding that.
IMO I think our clean out will only benefit BS in pursuit of instilling a belief that we can achieve beyond common expectations. He needs to believe it too

Fair enough on Motlop, but who else might be available that is under 26? I put forward Kelly but is would cost us too much I would think. I'm not sure who else we can target with pace?
