Vickery, Rohan and Taylor :$:$:$:$
Been saying for a few years that Watts would do well in a good team. Good FA option is much better than trading for a spud.

I'd rather Green than Rohan.

When has Rohan kicked 30+ goals in a season?

In any year he has never averaged over 12 possessions per game. If we were getting him for a 3rd or 4th rounder then maybe.

Rohan has more talent in his little toe than Green.

Rohan needs a new club, a fresh start, confidence and feel healthy and fit. ie Waite/Higgins.
Speed is about his only talent.

That doesn't translate into being a good footballer.

Green has already proven he can be a more than capable footballer in a shit house side. Rohan with champions around him may have talent but he has proven in 7 years that he isn't really a footballer. I said the exact same thing when he was drafted.

A big name trade will pop up. I think it might be Rockliff but im not interested.

From our point of view, obviously Hansen could go, Atley? Dumont? need to keep both.

Its hard to pinpoint our position as we need to have difficult conversations with elder players. Petrie and Firrito go this year.

Lols at suggesting we let LT go and trade in rohan to take his place.
LT whilst he has had some issues has won us games this year when our piss poor triple towers did jack shit.
LT is a victim of the media and if you noticed in the last game he was less looking for frees and more focused.
Nobody actually suggested that did they?

Michael Hurley will be offered a contract extension that will secure his long term future at the Club.

The 26 year-old has been in regular discussion with the Club before he headed overseas for a holiday with teammates Michael Hibberd, Cale Hooker and Tom Bellchambers.

Hooker and Bellchambers have recommitted to the Club for next season, as has Dyson Heppell, David Myers, Trav Colyer and Heath Hocking.

Chief Executive Officer, Xavier Campbell, remains confident the talented defender will remain at the Bombers.

“Michael is a great young man with tremendous football talent,” said Campbell

“He’s highly respected in the club and is a leader within the playing group.

“We want him to come to the conclusion he wants to be at Essendon and I hope and believe he will come to that conclusion.

“We respect that Michael is going through a process and we will give him the time and space he needs to make that decision.

“He has a year to run on his contract and we have been speaking to Michael and his management for some time about a long term contract extension which we believe illustrates the value he brings to our club.”

Originally recruited as a forward, Hurley has become an integral part of the Bombers’ back six since making the move to a defender.

His efforts were recognized in 2015, collecting his first All-Australian selection and finishing runner-up in the Crichton Medal.

This is one of the strangest press releases I've read,
To me this says * are losing the battle and they're trying to make Hurley the bad guy if he leaves.

Clubs never and shouldn't ever release information on contract negotiations.

It's poor form in my book.
