Don't need to waste early draft picks on trades. Last night's team had 21 players drafted and developed by us - Dal Santo the exception.
We need to draft another group of young mids. Its clear that by 2018 we will have lost Wells, Dal Santo, Harvey, Gibson and Swallow. We can add to last night's team Jacobs, Wagner and Mountford. Draft another group of young players with some speed and skill and bring them into the team slowly.

Wouldn't mind Hill at all.

I know he's an outside player but we've got plenty that find the ball inside and we could use someone like him.

Hill was very good on the weekend from what I saw. I get that he's soft and he's an outside player and that might put people off, but that's his job. He's not supposed to be putting his head over the ball in the middle of the contest.

I've never understood this labeling of outside players as soft just because they don't get x amount of contested possessions. It's entirely hypocritical. Every team has them and every team needs them.

We don't have them. It's our eternal complaint.

Moving on... Is Dylan Clarke (Ryans brother) worth drafting?

Any player can look good against Shitmond. He's not just soft, he's small, his kicking is loopy and without penetration, he has taken 5 contested marks in 80 games, he doesn't tackle, hardly kicks goals, only finds an adequate amount of footy. Smart enough, runs all day and has genuine speed but Harro is right, absolutely carried by Hawthorns.
