But like it has been said our next pick is in the 40s and we don't have much to trade to get us to the 15 20 bracket too appease the gc. If we want him we have to pay or stay clear.
If we have Pick 5 that is way way overs, and the club would get lynched for doing it - especially by the media. I think there'll be something else coming back.

Perhaps Pick 5 for Prestia and GC's 2nd Round Pick... Or we'll do other trading, to make it more equitable... who knows. It's gonna be a very interesting trade week.

fwiw Pelchin stated on SEN today that Prestia is worth somewhere between pick 8-15 this year.

Also daid Lids only an early second rounder due to calf injuries and Vickery also a second rounder.

Just one mans opinion but he did say that he's been speaking to other list managers recently.
"Other list managers" is code for voices in his head. :D

How about we back ourselves to have a good year in 2017 and offer next years first rounder?
Would offer next years first.

Take pick 4-5 to the draft

Next year we get guys back and the natural improvement of Corey Ellis, Menadue, Markov ect.

Insert Prestia, Yarran, Pick 4/5 into the 22 and I think we will be back.

If it came down to it and GC wouldn't budge I'd give them our first pick in a straight swap. Give me the established 23 year old midfielder any day.

A mystical top 10 draft pick always seems to be a bit overrated, and even then you've generally got years of development to do. We can't let the media bully us into a rebuild and a stockpile of draft picks, we've got a core of ******* brilliant footballers in their mid 20's, we need more elite talent to support them now, not in 3-4 years.

I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory knowing we had a crack with Riewoldt, Dusty, Cotch, Rance & Lids rather than start the process again when we're likely to end up in the same place. I hate Norf as much as the next bloke but there's something to be said for the bravery they have in having a crack at winning the flag year in year out, otherwise what's the point.
