It's funny people want to cut and cut regarding the list but when it comes to the crunch they're not so keen on cutting hard.

As for you query, did you not read where I said that by trading away some players with value we could snare ourselves a young ruck preferably one that is ready to go from 2017. If not I would put Griffiths in the ruck full time and elevate Soldo on the senior list as well and use them either in tandem or, with Hampson to remain on the list, play them with him while they develop in the role.
**** man soldo is 2-3 years away

Hampson chances of staying another year have definitely been helped by Ivan almost certainly retiring and his improved form.
We'll need another Ruckman to replace Ivan, if we get rid of Hammer we'll need 2.
Hampson and Maric should not be on our list next year

I think we should offer Hurley and Heppell over a million each year because we can afford it as unrestricted FA!

If we trade a few guns out and draft heavily in 2016 and 2017 we should easily afford it! In 2018 we could pay each a shit load!

Also with Lennon, i would hold him. I really think with another coach who appreciates a smart forward and not to stressed about his "defensive" game, Lennon will flourish.
He has class young Lennon

He shits himself in big games as well. He wouldn't be the first I put on the table but he definitely wouldn't be the last. Brandon Ellis and Ben Lennon are the first to go for me. They have value. Conca, Grigg and Griffiths are next if anyone wants to give up anything for them.
I guess it depends on what you get for giving up Ellis or Lennon. We have a thin midfield and we are going to get rid of players in that area. They would have to be deals imo.

Definitely try to trade bellis maybe to saints for longer. Would keep Lennon to good a mark and kick

Our 2017 draft will probably be okay even without collecting a bunch of high picks because we've got Patrick Naish, Bailey Lambert and Josh Broderick as father-sons. I don't know a lot about them, but I'm pretty sure Naish and Lambert are projected to be first round picks at this stage
finally.......some father sons. 3 in the same draft?

Looking ahead to future drafts, Richmond could have its first father-son pick since Tom Roach in 2003 in Patrick Naish, son of Chris who played 153 games for the Tigers from 1990-97. The Northern Knights midfielder was awarded a scholarship to join the AFL Academy after impressing for Vic Metro in last year’s under-16 carnival on the Gold Coast and is high on the radar for 2017 draft. Bailey Lambert, son of Craig, is a member of the GWS academy.

I think Soldo needs a solid start to the season before I am sold on soldo and if I am not Sold on Soldo, Soldo should be OnSold. ;)
Lol .he does show little glimpses here and there. But he comes from a basket ball back ground so was always going to be a long r term prospects

The more I look at it, the more I think that Hurley should be our number one target. We need another key defender and is imo the second best after Rance. He provides attack and run and can be swung forward if need be.

I'd be offering 1 mil a season for him and try and get him to go as a DFA. Even if he doesn't we'd still get him discounted with the threat of it hanging over the Bombers

Does it matter after a couple of years of development already you put him on the senior list so that you can play him at the highest level when his form warrants it.
Remember he did not play aussie rules as a junior so he needs time and development if by the end of next year ( 3rd year as a rookie ).he has sho improvement yeah put him on list but way to early at the moment
