I said at the start, we would be aggressive this trade period and wowie by jingo we are. Now I asked around to a few mates that I trust and yes we have a interest in Hartlett and yes we wanted him last year but I highly doubt we will be offering our first round pick as a straight swap. I am not even sure we will get him.

One thing I do know, we will be active lol
If ralph says he is not coming back, well lock Yarran in for a super year next year. The guy is an idiot. He quotes what another jurno may say as fact. I know some think sources from a footy dept has said Yarran is stuffed but equally some say he is already training on his holidays with a club sanctioned and paid for personal trainer to help him catch up with the rest of the team when they get back to start pre season.

God i hope the latter is true, as obviously if the club recruits Prestia and Hartlett/or Mitchell and adds Toby and keeps 6 for Brodie....we are believing we do not need a full rebuild and can again play finals by adding those players to the side we already have and i would say i agree with them if they pull it off
I really want to see Yarran get back. I think he has so much to offer. Oozes talent.
Has there been any more movement on the Mitchell side of things? I can live with Hartlett as a fall back.
Think we need to keep pick 6 if Brodie is gettable.
I'm keen to see how the club conducts and navigates this trade period.

I worry for my productivity at work.

Happy to have a crack at Hartlett as long as we're not selling the farm. If we could somehow get hold of him & Prestia and trade our way back into the first round that would be ideal.

The draft field inside the top ten picks this year is wide open so we could get an absolute steal at #6 if we managed to keep it.

You get offered 200k when you haven't been paid much your entire career. Don't blame him at all for leaving.

There are a lot of "ifs" around this trade/draft.
If we got all of the above we would improve.
If we improve enough to make finals, our 2017 first draft pick will be in the mid teens.
If Naish improves enough to be a high draft pick, then we are better off using that pick this year and getting Naish with our second pick. (I think that's how it works)
Open the war chest and bring in the doozies now!

Everyone is placing a lot of faith in Balme. The same guy who oversaw the pies and let's be honest. Most of us have been hanging a fair amount of shit on them of late.

I don't see him as the great white hope that many do. A good pick up sure. Our savior? **** no
Yep, he cant do it all himself. Needs a couple more very capable footy minds under him.

Fyfe, Prestia, Mitchell, Hartlett, Motlop, pick 6 on a gun.

Clear the schnoz, rack up the lines, get ready for GF party next year. They be locking down the 3121.

I'd be amazed if this was true only due to him avoiding a jail term less than 18 mths ago. Would have thought he'd be subject to testing and good behaviour conditions. If it is true then pass pass pass. Balme would know the truth
The fact the pies players get hair tested I think this would be crap.

Lets be honest, even if we give a first for Hartlett, just remember, Fyfe comes free next season.

Out: 2017 first
In: Hartlett, Fyfe.

Make it happen!

A midfield of Martin, Fyfe, Prestia, Cotchin, Hartlett is seriously amazing!
Dreaming.

actually think getting williams is a big priority with the question marks over yaz. houli and williams off the hbf rance/astbury/grimes to take the talls lets vlas get midfield minutes. also helps keep dusty at the club. yeah the bloke is a flog but if it helps keep martin im all for it

Martin wouldn't be leaving regardless.
