Miles wasn't even that bad, but nothing compared to how he was last year

Was a bit stiff to be dropped second time around, but the first time he deserved it.

Edward on the other hand.. get him out, let him start fresh.
Yeah but the coach kept playing his mate Ty regardless then backed him in his pressers and dropped Miles. I don't blame miles for being shitty as double standards reign a Richmond. Important for our structure my ass.......we can't win the ball in the middle so we drop miles.......dud coach & dud game plan=dud season!

The pathetic output we got from sheds and miles in 2016 was a critical factor , I lost a fair amount of faith in the pair
Contested ball is an issue for us so probably keep Miles imo, it's a long season and we don't have a lot of inside grunt. 2015 was outstanding, not sure what happened this year just looked to be playing sore a lot of the time.

Anyone think Lennon is a chance to stay? Recently uploaded a picture of him travelling with kmac, vlas and elton from an end of season trip to Facebook and seems good friends with these boys from everything I've seen in social media circles. It seems strange given his close friendships with these blokes that he'd want out. I understand he's got to look after his footballing future first and foremost but it still makes me wonder.

He's the most talented junior footballer I've ever played with or against, and that's not just a token comment given I played with Bontempelli for a number of years. I just can't believe how it's panned out since his AFL career started. He has been cruelled by injuries hip, knee, shoulder and concussion over the last 3 years and I've just been waiting for him to get a clear run at it but it's never come to fruition and now he looks gone. It's a big dissapointment because we will get back maybe pick 25-30 if we are lucky and he's worth so much more based on talent alone.

I know we keep going over and over the same players but I'm convinced this is the one we can't afford to lose. This is one that could come back to haunt us in years to come. He just needs to be locked into that high Half forward role for a sustained period and he'd thrive I'm sure.

I think our midfield is bottom 4 in the AFL, which says a lot considering we have Cotchin and Martin in there.
Our inside 50 numbers are poor, we were constantly beaten in this area as well as tackle numbers too.
On top of this is the fact that none of our midfielders kick goals, even Dusty kicked very few goals this year.
Adding Prestia will help but our midfield needs a LOT of work and some much bigger bodies.
Starting midfield next year of Cotchin, Martin, Vlastuin, Prestia, Miles, C. Ellis please.
No Mitchell or Fyfe to squeeze in?

2 players that I hope we have a crack at this trade period are
Nankervis (Sydney) and Lamb (Westcoast)
Both would fill roles currently missing on our list
Nankervis- Maric/Mumford style ruckman who crashes in at ground level
Lamb- 3rd tall forward with great endurance levels.

Lamb is a serious dud, won't make it.

Miles came 6th in our b&f despite being dropped for several games...
I like Miles.

Did he deserved to be dropped for stuff all when there were far lazier spuddo players still getting a game? I personally don't think so.
