Stephen Coniglio is an absolute star and without even factoring in the contracted part of him, he is worth equal or even more of Adam Treloar. I think people really underestimate how good he really is. IMO he's the best mid at the Giants under 25 and Callan Ward is the only better mid altogether.

3=Coniglio
Top 10= Lobb
Top 20= McCarthy

You're way off
People overrate draft picks way to much. i would have Lobb and McCarthy rated even higher then you, so im completely shocked someone thinks there not even rated a 1st round pick together!

Lobb and McCarthy for a 2017 2nd...... Pfft, see door use door.

David astbury? Brisbane were willing to give up a second rounder last year. Backs dont go cheap and has had a good year, what's his value?
Richmond wanted a first round pick for him last season definitely wasn't worth that only reason we were interested was Leppa is my thinking can't see us being interested if Leppitsch left

Have to agree to disagree

Sitting out a year of football w "mental health issues" affects your trade value - just ask Melbourne re Mitch Clarke

Would be hugely surprised if McArthy fetches more than a 3rd rounder

Lobb then fetches 2 early to mid second rounders - more than fair value when you're able to use points to spend on academy selections

Saints trade 2017 1st to GWS for jack Steele and late 2016 st (16-18)

Saints trade 2 2016 1sts (9 and 16-18) to Essendon for Hurley + 2nd round pick (likely hibbered pick)

GWS gain 2017 1st, lose Steele and 2016 1st

Essendon gain 2 x 2016 1sts, lose Hurley & Hibbered

Saints lose 2016+2017 firsts, gain Hurley, Steele and 2016 second.
It's a good trade for Essendon and the Saints, but I'd expect GWS fans to disagree.

It is so hard to be objective when you are considering who you might like at your club and what you would trade to get them.
We all tend to value our own too more highly than others do.
Imagine the guy you most want at your club is already yours ... and someone else wants him ...

You would offer a first rounder maybe and a fringe player or two to get the Bont or Cyril or Danger or Rance and figure it was not such a bad deal
... but what if Bont, Cyril or Danger or Rance were already at your club ... would you accept a first rounder and a couple of fringe players for them?
